"Harry, what are you doing here?" I ask.

He's standing on our doorstep. Tripping wet.

"Harry?" Mom says in disbelief. "Why are you out here by yourself? Come in. You must be freezing."

"Thanks, Mrs. Hawkins." Harry shivers as he comes in.

"Please, call me Melissa. I'm telling you that since forever. Okay, let me get you some warm clothes."

"Thanks, Mrs. Hawkins." He says. Mom turns around, but then walks away fetching the clothes for Harry.

"What are you doing here?" I repeat.

"You must be happy to see me." Harry says sarcastically, but he isn't into it, like he used to.

"No no. Sorry. That's not what I meant, but it's 9 in the evening. And it's pouring outside and you're all by yourself. What happened?" I ask worried.

"Nothing." He says too quickly.

"Harry," I begin to worry. "You know that you can tell me everything. No matter what."

After arguing with himself wether or not he should tell me he sighs. "My parents are fighting."

"About what? And when you say they are fighting. Does that mean, they're still fighting?"

"I don't know. When I left they were constantly yelling at each other."

"Do they know that you're here?" I ask. He slowly nods. "Harry!" Then he shakes his head. I crack into a smile and shake my head, too. "You're incorrigible, you know that?" Harry smirks, showing his dimples, and is his old self again. "People often tell me that."

Mum returns with some dry clothes for Harry. "So, here are some dry clothes for you, Harry."

"Thank you Mrs. . . . Melissa." He grins and takes the clothes to the bathroom.

Once he's out of it, Mum casually asks Harry. "So, Harry. What's the cause for our pleasure to have you with us tonight?" Harry and I change glances, like we often do, and I immedeatly know what he means. "Oh, it's nothing. Harry just wanted to hang out. Right, Harry?" I say. "Yup." He says and gratefully looks at me. Mum doesn't look convinced, but I think she knows, that now isn't the time to ask. "Well, in that case, I'm going to let you both alone, but don't stay up too late." "Okay." Harry and I say in unison.

When Mum finally leaves the room, after bringing us blankets and telling to not open the door to strangers and all that kind of stuff, I ask Harry. "So. . . what happened?"

"What do you mean?" Harry asks. "Oh, come on, Harry. You know exactly what I mean. Tell me what happened." He puts both his hands up in defense. "Alright. Alright." He takes a deep breath. "My father. .From what I heard I think. . he.." He takes another deep breath and now looks m dead serious in the eyes. "he cheated on my mother with another woman."

--Kate--

"Logan?" I ask in disbelief.

"Yup. yup. That's me." He says grinning. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "You know normal polite person would've said 'Hi, Logan. Nice to see you. Don't you want to come in?' And then I would've said 'Yes, sure.' But I forgot that you're--" "'That doesn't answer my question." I say still holding the door and not letting him in. He sighs exaggerately."Well, since I saw you didn't have anything to do, because you were kind of dancing--" "Okay. Okay. I get it. Do you want to come in?" I say quickly feeling the heat on my cheeks. "With pleasure." He says grinning. I roll my eyes.
