Chapter Seven
As soon as Jane leaves, I stand up and look in my dresser. In one drawer, there's some underclothes. I close that drawer, and I pull open the next. He put some pajamas in there. Okay. The next drawer has my purple tank top in it, so I put my blue t-shirt in there, too. The next one has my jeans and a black skirt, so there I put my leggings. The next drawer has my fuzzy socks, and a few other pairs. There's another note in there. This handwriting isn't as neat as Slenderman's, but it's good enough to read.
Hey, it said, Slendy told me there was a new girl living in his mansion. I thought you might want some stuff to wear, so I sent some of my clothes. If you're wondering, those sneakers are mine. I don't need them back; you can have them. I also gave you some socks, a skirt, and a purple jacket.
~Nina
P.S. Be good to Sally and EJOh, that's where that skirt came from. I rummage around the sock drawer, and guess what socks Nina sent. She probably gave me the thigh-high socks that are striped red and black.
I look around the room some more, and see a closet at the far end of the room. I get up and look in it, and guess what I saw in there. A note. I wonder if there are eight notes I have to find. That's what you have to do in Slenderman's game. I've found four of the eight, if you count that one in the woods that said "you made a mistake coming here". I read it.Dear Darling, it said. Darling. Wow. I got you an outfit, because I saw your clothes while were asleep. It was a tragedy! A tragedy, I say. Combat boots? Really? Well, never mind that. As long as they're not crocks. I got you a few dresses because you don't have any. And I hope you'll wear them. They're the only clothes you own that look good.
~T.M.Well. This T.M. person is very uplifting when it comes to my clothes. But the dresses he left me actually really pretty. A white sundress with blue and pink flowers and flows down to my ankles, a purple dress which's sleeves reach to about my elbows and flows down to approximately my knees, a pink dress that, again, is about knee length, and a strapless white feather dress the reaches down to just above my knees, like the black dress I'm wearing now. Also, there's a towel and bathrobe in there. I take those, because I need a shower, then close the closet door.
I pick out the bathroom easily. The door is open. I walk down to it, close and lock the door, then look at myself in the mirror. I do not look like me. I don't look like Brooklyn Shoin. But why? I don't get it. Oh well. I turn on the shower, undress, and step in without waiting for it to heat up. Not like I can feel it, anyway. Eventually, the water starts steaming and my skin turns a rosy-red color. The water must be too hot. And I don't want to waste hot water if I can't really feel it. I usually sing in the shower, so I'm debating on if I should do it now or not. I decide I should. Sure, it might make me seem strange, but this is a mansion full of monsters. We're all strange here. I decide to sing a random song that I like.
