The Plan

Bogo looked the fox up and down with a steely gaze as Nick followed Clawhauser back into the bullpen where they were discussing their next move on Judy's kidnapping. Nick frowned when he saw his and Judy's shared seat, toppled over. Clawhauser moved in front of Nick and spoke to chief Bogo. "Nick had a bit of a meltdown but he's okay now and ready for the job. Right Nick?" The cheetah signaled him over with a wave of his paw. Nick straightened his clothes, cleared his throat and nodded. "Yes, thats right. I can do this. We are going to find Officer Hopps and put Swiftfoot away for a very long time" the vulpine gritted his teeth at his last words. "Officer Wilde, ready for duty sir" he saluted for extra measure, even thought it was still very dark even with the officer's flashlights on. Bogo was silent for a moment and Nick worried that the buffalo would tell him he was unfit for the job. "I can do this" Nick assured him, "I want to do this." Bogo then grunted. "Wilde, I understand this is difficult for all of us, you especially but in the force there is no room for personal lives to get in the way so see that nothing like this happens again. You have to treat every case with the same attitude; logically, efficiently and without emotion. I know this isnt like you Wilde, so I have concerns but I also think you will be more determined and prepared for what you will be facing, so long as you can put aside your emotions. I need to know you can do that." Nick nodded stiffly. "That's what I do best sir. I wont let you down again like this I swear. I'm ready to take this puma down!" The fox's eyes narrowed to slits. Bogo stood from his seat. "Thats what I like to hear. Are we all ready then?" The officers nodded. "Then here is what we are going to do..."
