Nick felt sick to his stomach as he and the other officers discussed their next move. The fox could hardly focus on what was being said. He knew Judy was a smart and strong little bunny but she could be dead by the time they found her. Nick felt hot under his fur and he realised his palms were clammy. He wiped them on his outfit but he felt the same sensation seconds after. Nick felt as if he couldn't get enough breath, as if his throat was closing up and as if the room was closing in on him. He furrowed his eyebrows as horrible outcomes of the event flashed through his mind. Every moment seemed to drag on but Nick felt as if he did not have enough time. How could he stop this? Would he ever see his partner again? How could he go on without her if he didn't? Nick growled out loud at the thoughts and rubbed his temple. Bogo looked over questioningly. "Wilde?"Nick looked up to see all the other officers staring at him and suddenly, he couldn't breath. He felt a sudden urge to flee the room and get away from the prying stares. He had never felt such a sense of urgency to flee in his whole life. It was as if icy claws of fear were gripping his stomach tightly. But what about Judy? What about finding her. No. he thought, he would get back to that. He just needed to get away. Nick didn't know what was going on but his chest felt tight, he was so sweaty and he couldn't shake the feeling of his throat closing up, causing him to gape for air. In this moment he only knew two things. 1. Fear; a sense of impeding doom. 2. He needed to get out of this room and away from everyone. All this happened in moments but to Nick, he noticed every little thing going on in that room and it felt like time had slowed down. And then, everything sped up. Out of pure instinct, Nick shot up out of the chair he was sitting in, accidentally knocking it to the floor, and pelted out of the room, his paws covering his face, his breaths coming in short, fast gasps. He heard the mammals call after him in confusion and concern but in those moments, everything was a blur and he only noticed his own racing mind.
