Both seemed to want to meet each other.
Him, to justify himself.
Her, to get finally get a closure and escape the maze.

She still remember that day afresh,
Like it was yesterday.
How he had stormed away from her life without any say!

She was staring out the window drowned in her thoughts,
The door bell rang snapping her back to reality.

Making her way down,
She opened the door.
It all seemed like Déjà vu,
He was once again there standing in her foyer.

He still seemed worn out,
Dark bags underneath his eyes,
Shoulders slouched.
He stood there frozen,
This once he didn't want to get thrown out.

She didn't know what to say,
She stood rooted in her place.
