Arriving at the cliff,
Cold breeze hit her face ever so lightly.
Stepping forward she saw him
Looking across the cliff
with thoughts so many.

She reached out to him,
Not sure how to approach.
Just then he turned around,
Like he knew she was there all along.

Silence,
It's comforting but at times so disturbing. Like a slow death without any assurance.

Tension lie thick in the air
Silence consuming every pore of it.
