The first few weeks were difficult for Olivia. Although she had a loving friend, she couldn't help thinking about Harry. He understood her in a way not anybody else was able to. They were like halves of a whole, and she felt incomplete without him.

Tara would scoff at her words at times.

"Honey, you should learn to let go. Sometimes, that is the only way you can be happy." Well, easy for her to say. She was now on speaking terms with her estranged best friend and anybody could see their bond strengthening day by day. She felt a sudden stroke of jealousy, but it soon disappeared when she remembered that Tara had suffered for two whole years.

At times, she would also feel like a burden towards Tara and her group of friends. She felt like an intruder, as they had known each other very well since years. Nevertheless, after a while, she began to feel at home. They were the nicest people she had ever met. But Harry still plagued her mind every day.

She still wore the necklace Harry gifted his, for it was a reminder of happy times and carefree days. She would cry at night, fervently wishing for a miracle to happen so that she could go back to the past, where everything was so much better. She felt ungrateful to have such thoughts as Tara was an amazing friend, but they wouldn't stop.

Living in the past was dangerous, but she found herself drowning in the sea of memories, struggling to reach the surface.
