Dean was the new light of her life. She had been hesitant at first, all shy and not opening up at all. However, his charms and manners soon put her at ease. They became friends, but it was obvious that he wanted more. He flirted a lot, sometimes a little too much, but she could not help but become fond of him. Many people, including Elle, told her that they looked perfect together and it were high time they became a couple. From the outside, everything looked picture perfect. On the inside, not so much.

The problem was that Olivia could not return his feelings for her. Her heart did not flutter when their eyes met, and there was an absence of butterflies when she saw him smiling at her. There was no special bond, no looks of coy shyness from her side. Did Harry rob her of her ability to love? She had no answers.

Dean was a nice guy, but he was not the one for her. No one understood that other than Tara.

"Don't rush into a relationship if you don't have feelings for him. It might end up hurting you both." she had said. But she felt like she was hurting Dean, someone who now played a significant role in her life. Eventually, he would give up and move on, and she did not want another person to leave from her life.

So, when he asked her out under the tree in her neighbourhood, a tree that held so many memories, she agreed. Then began a new chapter in Olivia's life, and only time would determine if it was for the better or for the worse.
