Q&A
1. Is this the end?
Yes, I felt like this was an appropriate ending. Olivia has transformed into a stronger person and we also know Harry's reasons and perspective, so I don't think anymore needs to be added. However, you will see more of Olivia in my other book 'Everything Has Changed'.
2. What Harry did to Gabrielle was wrong. What do you think about this?
Definitely. No one has the right to play with another's heart and feelings. Nevertheless, Harry is human and humans make mistakes. None of my characters are perfect- they all have their flaws but that is what defines them. I'm not justifying what he did. I am just laying out the truth.
3. Harry's decision was dumb. How could he not think about how Olivia would feel?
Again, I have to say that he made a mistake but he's human. However, he did know the risk he was taking and was aware of the consequences. He says so in the postlude. Heartbreak is painful, but in the end, it is easier than dealing with the death of a loved one. In his mind, he thought he was doing Olivia a favour.
4. What inspired you to write this story?
Nothing, really. Random ideas pop up into my head at random moments. This idea came to me when I was listening to 'Stone Cold' by Demi Lovato. That song touched me for it would be so sad to see someone you love with another girl. Then I thought "Why not write a story about it?" and here it is :)
5. Is this based on a real incident?
This is completely a work of fiction. However, we have all had the 'unrequited love' scenario at least once in our lives. So I guess many of you might be able to relate to this. If it resembles something that has happened to you, then I assure you that it is completely coincidental.
6. Do Gabrielle and Dean get together?
I haven't thought of that. Let it remain a mystery.
7. Can we expect anymore stories from you in the future?
Yes, most definitely. Right now I'm working on a story called 'Everything Has Changed' in which Tara is the protagonist. For now, I will focus solely on that story. After it's completion, I will work on a new one. I have many ideas for really good story lines.
