The floor was cold. Stone cold.
Even his own fire couldn't warm the teen. He was so cold, he couldn't stand it. Liu wouldn't let Kai have a good enough of a bed to sleep. So, he made do with the floor. At first it was uncomfortable. But now, it's not that bad. If you think about it, Kai is and will probably forever stuck here. Until death calls.
What was he saying? He wasn't gonna die! The others will find him.
Cole will save him, right?
Daylight flooded in from the barred window. It was a nice day, the sky was a brilliant blue, fluffy white clouds drifted across the sky. The sun was shining brightly.
However, to Kai, this was not a 'nice' day.
Heaven knows what Liu had in store for him today. Would it be another whip day, or even better, a burning sensation across his chest as Liu burned Kai's skin.
Ohhh, it was none of the above........
Cole was training with lloyd. Both couldn't sleep, so they got up and spared together.
"Hey Cole?" Lloyd asked as he say down, sweet dripped down his face.
"Yeah" cole replied, turning to look at the blonde.
"Do-Do you think we'll e-ever find him?" Tears pooled in the green ninjas eyes.
"Yes. Lloyd we will. We have to!" Cole said, as he embraced the smaller teen into his chest.
"Kai won't give in that easily. Trust me. Right now, Kai probably give Liu a thrashing" Cole said, trying to sound strong for the chosen one.
"Y-y-yeah"
