Cole couldn't believe it. It's been five years.
They hadn't been able to find him. At all. They searched and searched and searched till they pass out.
And now, everybody has moved.
They've forgotten that a flame is missing from the fire. Zane had been trying to make Cole believe that he was dead. Nya gave up completely, with only Jay for company. Lloyd is still a wreck, but his girlfriend his helping him get through.
And Cole......
He couldn't move on.
He couldn't forget.
He couldn't give up.

He sat in cell. Dried blood covered the walls and floor of the cell. The smell of burning flesh and blood wasn't as foul as it was all those years ago.
He looked in the cracked mirror in the west corner of his cell.
His face was dirty and blood that never got washed away sticked to his skin like a memory.
His hair had gotten darker. A more black then brown. His eyes, held the most change.
Once a warm brown, had somehow turned to a cruel red.
Maybe from crying? Maybe from the blood? His red ninja gig was torn to shreds, he had to make do with the bloody sheets and old clothes from Liu which were far more bigger than his body.
He was as skinny as a twig. His skin paler and burned, scars covered his back, chest, his arms, his face.....
The door opened.
No light shone through. Only darkness.
He smiled, knowing that he could possibly die with this next torture season.

"Kaito, my slave, weren't you meant to stay on the floor." Liu asked.
Kaito, was that his name? He couldn't remember.
He gulped, and sat.
"This won't do......you know. Your little friends have given up on you. They've forgotten. All but one. And besides, you're going to be dead before he get here."

Liu laughed as he wrought the iron whip down against Kaito's back.
Kaito cried out.
Another burn.
Another whip.
Another drown.
Another burn. Another. Another. Another. Another.
