Pain.

Nightmare. Fix you

Kai withered around in his bed. He couldn't sleep. The nightmares were too real.
He was scared that he would wake up and still be in that place.
With Liu...
He woke with sweat rolling down his face. His eyes puffy and red from crying in his sleep. His leg didn't give him much movement- his arm was pretty much recovered.
However, as he changed his clothes in the mirror that evening- the scars weren't going away. The whip marks were too deep, creating crossed lines all along his back and chest. His chest- on his chest was the letter 'L' on his left bicep. He was skinny as hell, his six pack barley visible anymore.
And his eyes, they had changed the most. At least- that's what everybody is saying.
They weren't fire fuelled like usual.
They were dull and- Ash like- like the events after a wildfire in the forest. Just ashes and smoke....

Cole shot up from his bunk bed and sprinted out of the room. He made a beeline for Kai's room. He was sleeping in the guest room for now.
Cole flung open the door, spotting Kai sat up, tears streaming down his face as he whimpered in fear. Cole walked over sitting down on his bed, pulling Kai into him.
"Kai....another nightmare..." Cole asked. Kai didn't reply, instead he weeped into Cole's black tee shirt holding on to him. Tightly.
"Want me to stay? "
Kai nodded vigorously, clutching Cole's waist.
"Sleep. I'll be here"
"N-No! I can't. Every time i clo-Close my eyes I'm-I'm back there. With H-Him!" Kai shook his head, burying his head into Cole's chest.

"I'll fight your demons Kai. I'll defend your fire.
I'll burn your sadness. Leaving happiness.
I won't let your flame die. I won't let you suffocate under your own smoke.
I won't let you burn with your ashes......I'll fuel you. I love you so much! ......I promise I won't leave, run or...anything. I only promise is that I'll mend you. Fix you.
Love you...."
