Hydranons, more commonly known as hydras, are multi-headed, reptilian creatures. The Hydra from Greek mythology was derived from this creature. Hydranons are very easily mistaken as dragons, but are a whole separate species. They don't have wings, or elemental powers. They are born with two heads, but at a young age they tend to fight and kill each other, which is how the other heads first grow out. Their scales are as strong as steel, and they have gills so they can breath under water. They are as big as elephants and hunt large game for food. Unlike most non-mammals, hydras are born straight from their mother, not hatched from an egg. Hydranons normally live in caves or dens in groups of twenty to thirty. A hydranon will live to be almost 1000 years old, and only bear about 1-2 offspring in their lifetime.
