Sandworms are gargantuan worms that live deep underground. Despite their name, they live all over the world, not just in sand. They have the power to tunnel through the hardest rocks imaginable. They almost never come above ground and are used as a food source for cave giants below the surface. Some cave giants have even been known to ride the larger sandworms around. They tend to live to be around 50 years old, and can range from the size of a light pole to a school bus.
