I happily smiled as I watched the Durarara!! Opening 1.

"Durarara is so cool!" I whispered to myself. I just loved the anime. The characters are all badass, and the story is very deep. What was not to like about Durarara? I heard the other students in the background chitchatting and laughing, so I assumed they were minding their own business. Until everything went quiet, that is. Next thing I knew, a random student came over and tapped my shoulder.

"Hey, the teacher is coming. Put your phone away." I shot up from my desk.

"Oh no!" I rushed to power off my phone and shove it back into my backpack. Just as I put my phone away, our homeroom teacher walked in. We stood up, bowed, and sat back down. My first day at Rikkyo Ikebukuro High was going to officially start.

My first day there wasn't anything new. Since I just transferred to this school at the end of my second year, I was already used to the expectations that the teachers had for me. Next thing I knew, it was already the end of the day.

"You are now dismissed." All the students packed up their bags and began leaving. Once I exited the campus, I remembered something.

"That's right! Dad said he was gonna send me a package. I wonder if it came in today." The sun was already almost setting, so I made my best speed to the post office.

My family was a weird one. It was only my father and I living in our house, and since he was an engineer for the government, I didn't really get to see or spend time with him. He sometimes didn't come home for a week, leaving me alone in our house. He worked on many top secret projects, and since he was such a good engineer, the government requested for him many times. Although he was sometimes gone for a while, he made sure to send me care packages and money for me to take care of myself. Today was no different.

I finally reached the post office after a little while of running.

As I expected, dad's package came in. I picked it up, thanked the postman, and headed to my house. The sun was setting already, and I didn't want to stay outside. Reaching my house, I unlocked the door and found my room. I dropped my backpack down and I plopped down on my bedside, opening the package.
