These kids,
In your city, your school, your home
Who cry every night,
Who hurt themselves,
And still try to fight
They might smile at you as you walk,
They might make everyone else shut up, just so you can talk
In the middle of class, you look over,
They are still smiling,
As time flows by,
You see their fight fading
Threatening to leave,
When you walk to class,
You see their books on the floor,
A crack in their heart,
Fight puddled on the floor
You know what to do,
And will you do it?
Oh no,
No you won't,
Dont say yes
You want to be liked,
So you kick their books
Breaking the last of their fight
Said kid, in a thought
Has been through this all before,
He's got a rope, some drugs, and his dads gun drawer
He is very prepared,
And oh boy,
Did you break him!
On that following Monday morning
A tear shed,
You can't cry,
No you dont have the right
You kicked his books
And burned down his fight
