Poetry and I ,
We've got a love and hate story
The kind you'd see in blockbuster
When your eyes are soaring
Over the constant re-run, re-ran, boring soap operas
You find absolutely annoying
Its toying, playing with the tearing and struggling to push out a new story
And mumble the lines so
They sorta kinda rhyme?
Its kinda hard to be talented
It makes your mind a mess
In a good way
Not the crazy way
Like your ex bestfriend
Who is on drugs now,
Who has sixteen different kids
And isn't trying to help their life
Poetry and I,
Are like that unknown coffee shop
Thats too mainstream to have customers
Its like? We dont want you here? We don't want your blog post? Goodbye, see ya later!
We've grown apart
Like splitting vines from the same root
We've got thorns and flowers
And water that flows
The night is below us but the sun is too close
Y'know? Its hard to relate
To every single existence
With the constantly turning earth
In a universe ever expanding
And with all that
You can't put whats in your head on paper
With the same goddamn meaning
Poetry and I
Walked hand In hand
But this wasn't the normal Neverland
Nevertheless,
Poetry and I were just as dangerous
