Genre: Romance. Valentine's Day came a little early!
First Impressions: Man oh man does this book scream meh. It's all I can really say. The narrative is solid, but the characters are just meh, story, meh. It's meh. I don't hate the book, nor do I love it. It's in that middle ground of meh. But! I can see this book breaking out of meh territory, it just needs something interesting that only the writer sees coming. Like killing off any important character, therefore shifting the landscape. Or maybe some sort of revenge from left field that nobody saw coming.
Rating: PASS
Even though I already shared my meh mentality, I still think this book-as I said-has potential. And I have faith in this book. So, you can sit at the big kid table for now, but throw in a twist to keep us entertained, okay?
Also, it would be amazing if you read my book, Past Where Hell Ends. Some of the people who are in this book do feature as characters, so i would love it to death if you read it. Welp, that's all. Peace!
