Author: rovers12095
Genre: horror
First Impressions: Well this book makes no sense. It's not just the writing that's throwing me off, it's the whole thing. 1st things 1st, this book is moving at a breakneck pace. It feels way to fast, and I can't tell if this was intentional or not. First, there are no periods. I'd settle for a book with way to many periods over one without any. Second, the spelling's off again. Third, this books hops from POV to POV like it's playing hopscotch. And lastly, it's not scary, yet it's labeled a horror book. The scariest thing that happens is maybe the blurb. I know, it's not like me to touch the blurb at all, but this one is a different book. This book's blurb challenges the reader to, and I quote:
To find out the meaning of 7:07
Buuuuuut if this sounds challenging, don't worry. It's as easy as it gets. First chapter, right near the first chunk of text, and I quote again:
I look at the clock. It's 7:07. My bus gets here at 7:10.
Also, who the heck takes a half hour doing their hair and going on Snapchat? Anyways, she gets into a bus crash, the guy driving is a freak, and bus-hijacking is involved. And then nobody can see her. Plot synopsis over. And adding on to the terrible blurb, it also hops from 3rd person to 1st person. For those who don't know, that's like looking down at a person staring through a window, then becoming that window.

Rating: FAIL
Whelp, river's adventure got to sneak past failure, if just barely, but this book falls short, it's incomprehensible, and the pacing is terrible. If these things do get fixed, I'll change my stance on said matter, but for now, Death Date gets a comfy seat on the bus in the 1st chapter, meaning it'll likely die.
