A Classic Team Bonding

The season was off to a semi good start. But like any new team, we were all struggling to play as a team. So I came up with a quick, easy, fun way to fix our problem: team bonding. I invited the team over to my house for the night. We ate brownies, had heart to hearts, and even played Never Have I Ever.

Never Have I Ever is drinking game but, because we were all underage, we decided to use all 10 fingers instead. It works like this; Players sitting in a circle hold up ten fingers. Anyone who has done the activity mentioned in the “Never have I ever . . .” statement, puts one finger down. Once a player has put down all their fingers, they are eliminated from the game. The winner of the game is the last remaining player with at least one finger raised.
It went on for quite awhile. Finally only two players were left; Corie and another player. The other player had 10 fingers left, Corie had 9 (she said she had her first kiss, but none of us counted it). I knew then, that this girl was a little more sheltered and naive than I had originally thought.

*A little back story on that night-- At one point I chugged almost a full 2 liter diet Mtn. Dew within the duration of half a hour.*

Once the night was headed towards an end, we laid on the floor and popped in a movie. Corie and I were laying head to head (her feet facing towards the TV, mine facing away). I was finally able to fall asleep when a sudden slap to the face had woken me up. Corie had flung her arm above her head, accidentally hitting me in the face. She never woke up because of it.

Now that I was suddenly we awake, I walked upstairs and to the bathroom where I proceeded to throw up the Diet Mtn. Dew. As I walked to my room, only one thing was on my mind-- Corie Gleason was sheltered girl and I was ready to change that.
