Deanna's pov
I hugged Pete who swung me in a circle after he picked me up.
Trick grabbed my hand smiling, "You're spending the rest of the day with us. Right now we have Mr. Brins." I laughed and they all pulled me into the school. My Sergeant saying I needed to be back at base by Friday.
I was pulled into Mr. Brins's class room and they were a little late. Mr. Brins tsked them saying,
"Sit down."
I sat down in my old seat next to Pete and just watched as everyone did work. I knew like all the answers. It was freaking easy. Math comes easily to me. One of the reasons why I can be a sniper since we need to calibrate our guns to wind and all that shit.
I watched as everyone tried to figure out a problem that wasn't really complicated. It was just the way it was worded.
Mr. Brins looked off his glasses and sighed, "Does anyone know the answer? Just yell it out."
A chuckle ripped through my throat as I replied, "The answer is 78 and 34 over 30." Mr. Brins looked at me surprised and I smiled,
"Hey Mr. Brins long time no see."
He cleaned his glasses and smiled, "Deanna Hills. Very training and fighting before. Didn't think I'd see you again."
I smiled before saying, "Well can't get rid of me that easily. Once I go to sniper school won't see me a lot. Maybe at their graduation. I kinda wanna see my best friend, brother, and boyfriend graduate. But then again they're all really annoying."
Liz slapped my arm saying, "We're not annoying! We're just fun and entertaining in a way that's too awesome for you to comprehend!"
I looked at her saying, "Sure. Whatever you say...."
