Deanna's pov --a few weeks later--

Pete isn't talking to me, and it's making me want to punch him in the face. I'm not even kidding. I've tried explaining and apologizing, in many different way, but nothing seems to work. It's killing me. I love him, so much, more them I've ever loved anyone else.

The door opened to my hotel room and I looked up to find Pete. He smiled slightly and held up a bunch of cheesy romantic movies and a bucket of fried chicken. I started laughing and he gently kicked the door shut and walked over. He set the chicken down on the nightstand and kicked his shoes off before diving on top of my bed. I barely moved out of the way in time.

He held up the movies and kissed me before beaming, "Pick one."

I raised an eyebrow before looking through them. After a short examination of the covers and titles I pointed to the only one I recognized.

My hand closed around the hard plastic case and I held it up smiling, "This one."

Pete groaned and rolled onto his back pouting, "Really? The Notebook?"

I laughed at his reaction before teasing him, "You're the one who said I got to pick."

He groaned again and I nudged him with my foot breathing, "Well go on, put it in."

Pete groaned again but got up. I watched him mess with the DVD player and TV, why he's no longer ignoring me; I have no idea. I don't mind it though it's nice to finally have my boyfriend back.

As soon as the movie was on Pete shut the lights off and closed the blinds. I raised an eyebrow and he explained,

"This way it's like we're in a movie theater!"

The opening credits started rolling and Pete jumped back into the bed. The smile that had made my face it's home grew. I rested my head on Pete's shoulder and he smiled and put an arm around my shoulder. He then used his other arm to reach over me and grabbed the fried chicken. I tried, and failed, to laugh quietly.

Pete gave me the 'evil eye' and whispered, "Shh! You're making me watch this! The least you can do is be quiet!"

My attempted to keep from laughing were successful do to the pillow I grabbed and held against my face. I heard Pete grumble about how in 'movie theaters like this one' the patrons are suppose to be quiet. That just made me laugh even more.

I've missed him and I'm so incredibly happy that I get to actually spend time with him before I leave again.
