Struggling with his bags and his special pillow covering his face as he tried to maneuver around the people walking down the hallway, Brendon tried to keep up with Dallon. He mentally cursed at how long legged Dallon is. "You sure about this?" He asked for probably the 6th time since they got in the building.

"Yeah, like I said it's cheaper plus its in school grounds so we don't have to pay for bus fares."

Dallon could hear Brendon murmuring behind him despite the noise that surrounded them. "Come on B, its gunna fine. I'll be with you every step of the way." Dallon reassures him. Brendon rolled his eyes in response. He didn't really want to live in a dorm, but he knew he won't be able to afford rent from now on, and there was no way he was going back to his parent's house, and besides Brendon liked living with Dallon.

They both halted in front of a wooden door Dallon twisting the door knob
before turning to Brendon with a huge grin. "Here we are, B276. Our new room." He says as he opened the door and walked in with Brendon still outside still hesitant to get inside.

Dallon started to drop his things on the floor but was startled once he saw a lanky boy sitting on one of the neatly made beds. He was confused not because the boy was strangely neat and the room was very neat but because why was there another person in his and Brendon's room.

"Um. Is this the right room?" Dallon awkwardly asked

"Are you Weekes?" the boy asked standing up from his previous position. Dallon looked around the room and noticed a Thompson baseball poster, some hats neatly arranged in a shelf, a guitar and some books. It looked like a normal guy's room but a tad bit more neater and cleaner. Dallon was still confused on why he was there and most importantly why the guy knew his name.

"Yeah" he answers

"I'm Ryan, I heard you were coming, welcome to your new room. Uh, you take that bed since I'm already settled in if that's fine." He says gesturing his hand to the beds. "Just please, off limits of my bed, my space and my stuff." He adds

"Um actually, hold on. Is this even B276? I don't know, I'm supposed to be in an empty room since my friend and I are staying together" Dallon says politely as he can. He was suddenly reminded of Brendon seeing he wasn't there beside him. "Hey B, what the hell are you doing?" He whispers before yanking Brendon's hand.

"I'm Dallon by the way" he politely says before reaching his hand out for Ryan to shake, only for Ryan's lip to slightly twitch as he looks at the hand.

"I uh--my hands are dirty maybe next time" Ryan tries to casually say. Dallon looked at him confused, possibly ticked off by how he was being weird and he saw the disgusted look in Ryan face no matter how hard he tried to hide it, It was just a hand. Even so Dallon just shrugged it off. He wasn't really one to get worked out about small things. "Check the door number man, I've been in this dorm the whole semester. Maybe your numbers got mixed up." Ryan speaks up after the awkward silence.

He noticed the shorter boy who Dallon was pulling at, who if in fact he was correct, slightly popping his butt out, which was exactly what Brendon was trying to do. Their eyes met for a moment and Ryan thought he was oddly familiar yet he still couldn't figure out who he was or where he had met him. "What's up?"

"Brendon Urie" Brendon finally raises and offers his hand for Ryan to shake. Mentally whacking himself with a machete because of his terrible flirting. Why in hell would he pop his butt out, he wasn't a peacock doing a mating call.

"His hands are dirty he can't shake right now" Dallon whispers to Brendon.

"What? Why?" Brendon pushes but Dallon sighs in response. "Jesus christ just put your hand down." Dallon whispers again before slapping his best friend's hand.

"We'll go check and ask the office about our rooms. Thank you though, Ryan right? Nice to meet you." Brendon sighed loudly after hearing this, he thought if he came in here he was finally able to put his stuff down and nap since he was stressing out all day; mostly just about which bag he'd put his stuff on. Brendon wasn't really an organized person so consequently Dallon had to pack up for Brendon after him throwing tantrums again. "but the office is like 3 buildings away Dallon" Brendon whined, he really didn't want to do any more walking.

"Actually, you can check on the site? You can just--hold on. Do you mind?" Ryan asks Brendon as he looks at the shorter boy's school ID. "1-16-0084, alright let's see" Ryan murmurs before walking to his computer and opens a site with their schools website on it. Huh, Brendon raised his eyebrows, he's been in this school for 2 years and he didn't even know they had a site. Ryan typed in Brendon's credentials then in an instant, bunch of numbers and schedules flashed on his computer screen.

"There see, so your room is--there, B278. That's just across this room." Ryan leans to his chair feeling like a proud genius, he liked knowing things that other people didn't.

Dallon looked at Brendon with concern, he was obviously fine living in a dorm with someone else, although he didn't want to, he was just mostly worried about Brendon. Of course Brendon was a little bummed out about this, and even a little part of him kind of hoped that he'd be room mates with Ryan, but thinking about how he was going to be living with a different stranger and not Dallon for the whole semester terrified Brendon. He didn't wanna be bullied again, or someone to make him uncomfortable and thinking he'd be a load to deal with, Dallon was the only person who tolerated Brendon.

"Are you going to be fine with this?" Dallon asked Brendon. No, absolutely not. What if my room mate is a bully, or maybe a vegan, or someone weirdly religious? Brendon being Brendon mentally argued with Dallon, but he didn't want to embarrass himself any more than he already did in front of Ryan. He wanted him to think he was cool, so acting really laid back about it was his plan. "Oh yeah, sure. It's no big deal." He says picking his stuff up and headed to the room Ryan was talking about, waving goodbye to Dallon before leaving the room.

He was wondering about what his roommate would be like when suddenly his room door opened and a big cloud of black smoke hit his face.
