More Than That
Chapter Ten
Rosie's pov

"We hope you enjoyed your flight with Delta Airlines, we can't wait to see you again soon." The pilot said over the plane's intercom.

I'm in America. I think to myself. I get to see Harvey and meet... Brennan. And all his family of course.

After leaving the plane, I made my way to baggage claim where Harvey said he would meet me. The walk to get there seems to take ages because I am so excited to see him again. Finally, I turn the corner to get to baggage claim to see a sea of people.

How the heck am I going to find them? I look all around, and I can't find them. I feel like I've been looking for ages. Am I at the wrong baggage claim? I double check my ticket, and I'm at the right one. I pull out my phone to text Harvey, but of course my phone doesn't have data here. I turn to see a nice looking man with a family and ask,

"Hi sir, may I please use your phone to ring my brother quick?"
"Sure, no problem." He says as he takes his phone out his pocket and lends it to me.
"Thank you, kindly."

I call Harvey but it just leaves a voicemail, of course. I'm about to hand the man's phone back when I hear a familiar voice talking on a phone.

"Dad, don't you think Rosie should be here by now?" The boy asks. My eyes widen. I hang the man his phone back and say thank you once again, and then I look for the boy.
"B- Brennan?" I say shyly.
"Rosie!" He says and wraps his arms around me.
"Brennan stop they don't know" I say as I try to pull away from his grip.
"Shh. Don't worry, I told them." Brennan whispers and hugs me tighter. This time I hug back.

"I hate to ruin the moment... but where's Harvey and the rest of your family?" I ask him.
"They were getting lunch at the food court and it was my job to get you and your luggage since I wasn't hungry. Harvey is at a class and sadly couldn't make it, but he'll be home soon." Brennan explains. "Oh, I got your luggage by the way." He smiles.

"Thanks." I smile back. I gaze into his eyes for a second. "You're hotter in person." I say, and instantly cover my mouth. I didn't know what I was saying but Brennan doesn't think it's weird and he just laughs.
"You're cuter too." He says. "And I didn't even know that could be possible."
My heart melts, this boy is so charming. I smile at him. "We should probably go find the rest of your family..." I say.
"Right." Brennan nods his head and then leads the way to the food court.

As soon as Brennan's family spots us, they start running over.
"Hey Rosie! How was your flight?" Mrs. Jill asks.
"It was great, but long." I say.
"Ha, that's what Harvey said too." Ryan says. (Keep in mind I already knew who they were because I met them over FaceTime)
"Yeah, I guess you could say we're pretty impatient." I joke.

I talk with Katie a lot as we walk to the car, and it turns out she is a gymnast, which is pretty cool. She's a year younger than me, but I think we will get along just fine.

We get home and I already love it here. Their house is super nice, and it turns out I'll be sharing a room with Brennan, so this might be interesting. Harvey will get home from his class in 30 minutes, so during that time I notify my parents and friends that I have landed safely. As soon as I text them, Cameron and Ellie want to FaceTime.

"Brennan, some of my friends want to FaceTime, would you mind?" I ask him. He's playing FIFA and I'm sitting on the couch with him.
"Sure, I don't care." Brennan says.

The call takes forever to work, and on our third try it finally works.
"Rosie!!" They both yell. (They're twins so they live in the same house and can use the same device.)
  "Hey guys." I say.
  "Who's your friend?" Cameron asks.
"His name's Brennan. Harvey stays with his family so I'll be staying here too." I explain.
"Oh. Nice to meet you I guess." Cameron says.

"Nice to meet you too. What's your name?" Brennan asks, kindly pausing the game to talk to my friends.
"Cameron. And this little female dog is Ellie." Cameron jokes as he points to Ellie.
  "Cameron!" I scold.
"Hey, at least I didn't say the real word." Cameron says and we all laugh.
"Let me just inform you that I'm not a bitch." Ellie says.
"I never said that! I said a female dog!" Cameron argues.
"Which is a bitch." Ellie snaps back.
"Okay you two, now you're both being bitches." I say.
"I'm not a bitch!" Cameron says.
"Now you know how I feel!" Ellie yells. Meanwhile, Brennan was laughing his head off this whole time.

"Rosie and Brennan! Harvey is home!" Mrs. Jill yells from upstairs.
"Bye guys, got to go!" I say to Cameron and Ellie.
"Have fun!" Ellie says before I hang up.
