They pulled the truck to an abandoned gas station that they saw nearby. They stopped bleeding of both men and later found a medicine cabinet and took further care which took nearly three hours. They cleaned inside the truck and laid the warrior on the back seat and the sergeant on the floor next beside. And they hit the road once again.

The sergeant said: "Why am I on the floor while this terrorist is on the seat?" with his broken voice because of the pain he still had on the throat.

"Because he is in a more critical condition and I need to access him occasionally." Told the historian.

The sergeant said: "Why do you care for a terrorist? Why do you even care for me? You were in search of the meaning of your life. It's about a day and a few hours before we evaporate in this valley and you are losing your time with us."

"We are not in search of the meaning of our lives. It is rather a search for the meaning of life in general. For example my friend is a scientist as you also know from the news who has devoted her life to protection of endangered species because she found meaning in wildlife. On the other hand, I am a historian and find meaning in history. Although we come from very different disciplines, from very different cultures, me being a Hindu while she is quite a nonbeliever, we cross at a point which is the relation of humans with wildlife. I study The Indus Valley Civilization and have specialized on a seal called Pashupati which was found in Mohenjo-Daro. It reveals considerable information about how ancient people took control over wildlife. This is actually my PhD thesis which I want to share with the people in Mohenjo-Daro."

The sergeant said: "I'm afraid nobody else will be there."

The scientist said: "That's why we care about you. Just in case nobody comes!" And the two women collapsed in laughter.

The warrior said: "Before I die, I prefer the torture of an American than listening to the thesis of a Hindu." And he started laughing out loud to his own joke despite he was in pain. After a short time of comprehension everyone else joined him bursting into laughter.

The sergeant said: "I could never imagine a doomsday where two lunatic women took care of two men in fight." They continued laughing and the historian said: "Well, that is pretty much a summary of human history."

As they got closer and closer to Mohenjo-Daro, the sincerity among these four people developed further and further. They talked about on what circumstances life could bring a Hindu woman, an atheist woman, a Muslim warrior, and a Christian soldier together and make them feel like good old friends in such a short time. They agreed how pitiful it was to achieve this fellowship only after understanding the fact that one's life depends on someone else.
