And here we are, the last chapter of the story. OR IS IT? You just have to read to find out! :) On with the story!

~Jason's POV (He has the best view of the battle)~

Herobrine swipes at Adam, who shifts slightly, avoiding the sword. Adam raises his sword to block another attack, then stabs at Herobrine's stomach. As the battle progresses, the sky steadily grows darker when Herobrine makes an attack, lighter when Adam does. Adam, Sky. Herobrine is the darkness, Sky is the light that must defeat him. I turn back to the battle, continually glancing at the sky as the two fight. At one point, Adam's blade is thrown from his hand, but he smiles, holding his hand out toward it, and it flies back, just in time to block another hit. Herobrine says something and Adam grins. I press my hands against the wall of my bubble thing, wishing I could be out with them. I turn away from the fight to scan the bubbles around me. Mitch is on one side of me, Ty on the other. We are the highest off the ground, with me higher than everyone else. If these bubbles burst, Mitch and I will fall the longest and most dangerous distances. I look at Mitch, and he suddenly opens his mouth, his face paling. I quickly look back to the fight to see Adam on the ground, on his back. His sword is still in his hand, though, and he quickly stands, pushing Herobrine away. Adam catches my eye and smiles, then Herobrine takes his chance. He runs at Adam, sword drawn, and slices Adam's arm.

Adam frowns angrily and suddenly flies into the air, up to me. He hovers in front of my prison-like bubble for a moment, his forehead creased with worry. My eyes widen as I point behind him, and Adam spins around, slicing Herobrine on the leg as he tries to sneak up on Adam. Herobrine falls, but grabs Adam's leg on the way down, and Adam salutes me as he falls. I laugh and watch as the battle resumes. Adam's sword is knocked from his hands by Herobrine, and he makes a diamond axe appear, burying it into Herobrine's arm. Herobrine yells in pain and swipes his sword at Adam, who quickly disarms him. Adam shoves Herobrine to the ground, raising his axe for the final blow. He brings down the axe, and it suddenly freezes, right before it hits Herobrine's forehead. The axe flies into Herobrine's hand, and Adam flies backward. He stands up, and Herobrine buries the axe in his forehead. Adam's eyes close, and he slumps to the ground. Herobrine starts laughing, and suddenly the bubbles burst and I start to fall.

I am caught by Ty, his wings spread over us as he glides to the ground. Rythian runs over with my wheelchair and helps me sit down, then pushes me over to where Herobrine is now standing over Adam, the bloody axe in his hand. "NOOO!! ADAM!!!!!" I scream, seeing him on the ground, a giant gash in his head. Adam stirs slightly, and Herobrine laughs. "He will never survive this, and that axe is magic. When Adam dies, he will be sent to the Void. No heaven for him, just eternal nothingness. And I'm the only one who can save him from the Void." At that, Herobrine is gone, and Adam groans. I wheel over quickly, pulling myself out of my wheelchair and onto the ground next to Adam. He opens his eyes and looks up at me. "J-Jason... I can talk again. Just in time for me to say goodbye. I will always love you like a son." He mumbles. I smile and he pulls himself up to hug me. I hug him until his hold loosens. He takes one more breath, smiling. "Jason... I will miss you dearly, but just move on. Goodbye, TrueMU..." His eyes close, but the smile stays on his face. Blood stops flowing from his head, and he almost looks peaceful. But... He can't be dead!

"NonononononoNO!!!" I yell, looking at Adam's still body. I put my hand on his chest, nothing. Then I put my head against his chest, and I am greeted by silence. I feel a tear running down my face, and I bury my face in Adam's still chest, letting the tears come out. All of my tears, from being abandoned, from being crippled, from being experimented on. All of the tears I've kept inside for so long come out as it hits me. Adam is dead. Forever.

I cry and cry until I have no more tears. Then I just pull my legs up to my chest, burying my face in my knees. I feel hands pick me up, and I reach out, trying to grab Adam's hand. When I only hit air, I start to cry again. I look up to see Mitch carrying me, tears and disbelief on his own face. "H-He said h-he'd never l-leave me... The d-day he a-adopted me... The d-day he s-saved me from t-the o-orphanage... H-He's c-coming back, r-right?" I ask, looking up at Mitch. He smiles and nods. "Adam is a fighter. He will be back, I know it. Remember how Herobrine said he was the only one who could save people from the Void? Adam is half Herobrine. He might be able to save himself. But we have to give him time." I hear a surprised gasp, and Mitch turns quickly. We both watch as the fur disappears from Jerome's skin, leaving him as the normal boy he was before. "Guys! I'm normal again too!" Bodil exclaims happily. "I don't hiss anymore, or explode!" I smile, and Ty meets my eyes. I look at him, his wings and fangs are still there. Zoey's eyes are still amber, and as I take off my gloves, I see that the skin is still grey. "I guess that you're transformations were too long ago to be able to switch back." Mitch comments, looking at my hands as well. I smile. "That's okay. WitherMU is a part of me now, I'd feel weird if he was gone." Mitch smiles and carries me into the house, and we watch from inside as Martyn and Rythian pick up Adam's body carefully, carrying him inside as well. Jerome brings in my wheelchair, but I shake my head. "I don't want to use that thing again. I want to try to learn to walk again. Adam would have wanted me to." As I say that, tears fill my eyes again. Mitch turns me to him and smiles. "Adam does want you to." He says sternly. "Remember what I said. Adam is a fighter. He will be back, and he will be back soon. We just have to wait." He turns and carries me to my room, and I smile as Mitch puts me on my bed. "He will be back. And we'll be here, waiting for him. WitherMU, Enderlox, Merome, Rachel and the other hybrids, SetoSorcerer, Ian the sorcerer, Rythian and Zoey, and The Sapling King." I say. Mitch smiles. "What about Ali?" He asks. I smile as well. "Of course. And the King's Sister."

And another book is over! There will be an epilogue, and a sequel. The epilogue will come out tomorrow, but the sequel will not be for a while. Tell me in the comments, what did you think about this story? What should the sequel be called? Answer both questions in the comments below, and I will post on this book when the next book and the sequel come out. Until next time, Seeya!
