Ding! Ding! Ding!

"Aww shut up stupid chat," I yell at my phone.

"Shauna, you're late for work," I hear one of my older sisters Fay say.

My family is complicated. I have 5 sisters, 7 half sisters and 7 stepsisters. I also have a brother. His name's Cameron. He's the youngest. He's 17 going on 18 in about a week. I'm the second youngest, biologically. 22 going on 23. I've finished collage, but I still live with my family. Yeah. I know. Babyish.

"SHAUNA!" Fay yells.

"Okay. I'm getting up," I say.

I get up and get dressed in a short sleeve shirt, some denim shorts, and black Nike running sneakers. Because it's summer and I live in California.

I also have the bracelet Cameron gave me. It says brother and sister on it with an infinity sign.

I get my phone and open it. I have like 268 messages from that stupid group chat. There's about 12 people in it. It doesn't make sense. Ugh.

"Hey, Shauna can I barrow $20?" I hear my brother Cameron say.

I look up from my phone to see him in the doorway with some tan flatfront shorts, a white and black long sleeve t-shirt, black and white Vans, and a back and grey snapback hat that says 'OBEY' on it.

"Going to see Sara?" I ask.

Sara is his girlfriend. I mean I guess she's nice. I mean she seems nice.

"Uh no... yes... maybe?" He stutters.

"Sure," I say.

I then grab $20 from my wallet. I then give it to him.

"Uh.. Thanks Shauna," he says taking it.

"No problem Cameron, have fun with Sara," I say and smile.

He may be my 'little brother' but he is for sure taller then me. I'm 5'10" too. He's 6' exactly.

"Shaun- Oh you're up," Fay says.

"Yes, now I'm going to go. Okay?" I say grabbing my keys and walk out.
