After Raine quickly ate her meal,
she fell asleep right away.
She kept having dreams, nightmares to be exact, that caused her to wake up. So she opened her eyes slowly. The rest of her family was still sleeping.
She averted her gaze towards Seb who was sleeping on their father's shoulder. She was sure that he wasn't aware of his position, and she could not help but smile.
Someday, you'll forgive him Seb. You may not admit it, but you love Dad very much. She thought. She looked beside her, and saw Athena sleeping on her arms.
Hay, Thena. Kala mo ba 'di ko napapansin na galit ka kila Seb, dad at mama? ' Wag kang pabebe, sis. Aware ako. She thought as she caressed her fingers in Athena's hair.
She looked around some more and saw Maine on the pther side of the bed, facing Richard.
Hay naku, ma. Mahal na mahal mo talaga si papa, kahit iniwan niya tayo. Grabe ka naman.
She smiled and moved slowly so they wouldn't wake up. Raine looked at her father.
Kung alam mo lang talaga, dad. Alam mo ba, mahal na mahal ka namin. Kahit may galit kami sa'yo ikaw pa rin ang number one daddy in the world.
She closed her eyes and looked up.
"Lord, thank-you kasi kahit magkagalit kami, magkasama pa rin kami." She whispered. She looked around once more before she drifted off to sleep.
