"Thena, are you alright?" Maine 
asked her daughter as she got the water jug from the table.

Athena just nodded absent mindedly. She looked at the hospital bed where her sister lay. She looked so peaceful sleeping, but Athena knew better. Her sister was having problems in her mind that she didn't want to share.

She sighed and looked around. Evryone was quiet, and the faint sound of the television was the only thing that could be heard. Richard was staring put into space, Seb was watching the news, while Maine was on the side of the bed preparing their food.

"Athena?" She heard someone call her. She looked and saw that Raine was already awake. She had a small smile on her face as she held put her hand towards Athena.

"Kamusta ka na?" Athena asked. Raine gave her a small smile.

"Okay lang naman. My wrist still hurts but I'm okay. I'm sorry, Thena." She said. Athena scrunched her eyebrows, but smiled at her sister.

"It's okay." She replied. No one else seemed to notice Raine, so Athena made it her duty to keep her company.

"Athena, ba't ang tahimik nila?". Raine asked. Athena looked at her and shrugged her shoulders.

She did that even though she pefectly knew the reason why they were actung that way.

"Oh, Raine. You're awake na pala." Maine said as she turned around.

"Hi, ma."

"Hi, baby. 'Wag mo na gawin ulit yun ah. We we're so worried about you." She said and touched Raine's hand.

"Promise po ma. Ayoko na po."

"Thank you." Marine kissd her on the forehead and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Osige, eat na. Lalabas na daw tayo bukas." Maine said.

Raine nodded her head and began eating her food.
