Hey everyone, ok so i've come to realise that my recent "chapters" have been far to short and i hope that form now on that wont be the case, however this means that there will be longer time periods between releases, but they should be worth the wait (I hope)

Thanks ~Lemon

The trip home that night was uneventful and silent, not even Penny talked the whole way and when we finally got home we had a quick meal, some leftover stew from the night before, and we all went to sleep though i slept badly, i had dreams, horrible dreams, of war and creatures and bloodshed, the last image i saw before i woke up was my father, lying dead with a dozen or so of the creatures lying dead around him but a dozen more scattered around doing what seemed to be cheering. But, other than my father being in it, the thing that made this dream the most shocking was that, as opposed to the other dreams where they were on distant, strange places, this one was right here, on Armagos in Bunstone, at my front door.

I woke, drenched in sweat and breathing heavily, i quickly got out of bed and rushed to the front door. I hesitated at the door, afraid of what i'd find on the other side, but eventually i opened it. The sight i saw shocked me.

there was nothing there, well nothing out of the ordinary, there was the rolling green hills the lush fields and the sun, though its scientific name is actually Jerom, peaking its blue head over the mountains beyond. This was Armagos, beautiful as ever.

After about a minute or so of taking in that spectacular view i returned inside the house only to find Penny standing behind me.

"What are you doing Deanie?" She asked, in the most grown up voice that she could manage, which almost made me laugh

"I was just admiring the view outside, what are you doing?" I asked in a voice as equal to Penny's previous voice as i could. This just made Penny laugh.

"You sounds silly!" and with that i picked her up and  hoisted her over my shoulders

"OI! Put me down! I'll wake mummy and daddy!" she said in a voice so loud that i think she might have woken them already

"Alright, alright." i said submissively as i put her down.

"What are you doing up so early anyway?" Though i think she knew the answer already.

"Like i said, i was enjoying the view."

"You're a worstest liar!" she's only five and hasn't learned common tongue very well yet."You were sneaking out before mummy and daddy woke up weren't you!"

The kid knew me to well.

"Yes... Don't tell them yet! wait till i'm gone please."

"It'll cost you." Crap, i knew she'd say that... "2 Republics."

"Geez, you drive a hard bargain missy. But OK, as long as you don't tell till i'm gone for at least half an hour."

"Done, now go before i change my mind." Wow she'll be a tough lady when she grows up.

So off i went, pretty much running down the road towards town, though I figured they'd know i'd go there first so I changed course and headed for the wind turbines first just so i could wait around there a little while. So i sat under one of those massive fans til i was satisfied that Mum and Dad had finished looking for me inside the town and had given up and gone home. So I eventually stood up and headed into town

The town its self was very big, only about 2 dozen buildings, but there was a lot of out lying farm land, like my family's, and so most of the people in town came from those. The town was pretty basically structured as well, there was the main street with a dozen shops lining it, the other dozen buildings were houses scattered behind the shops, one end of the main street and a little out of town on top of  a hill was the Barracks, the other end was the way to the Skyway and toward the bigger cities in Armagos. I'd only been to the cities 3 times, the most recent one about a year ago for a check up at the hospital.

Anyway, once every couple of days there's a market in town and, luckily for me, today was one of those days. So i made my way into town hoping to find some of my friends, though they were hardly my friends, i barely saw them since i only went to school every now and then, most other days i was working with dad on the farm. It's not like I'm uneducated though, mum home schools me, she knows quite a lot. So I'm looking around for someone, anyone i know, eventually i find Nick, he's pretty cool he's got blonde hair with brown eyes and hes about a head shorter than me althought i'm pretty tall so that's not to bad, hes about the only one of the people at school i call my friend.

"Hey Nick!" I call over to him

"Dean? Hey dude, whats up? Heard you were locked up last night, whats all that about?"

"Gee good new's travels fast. Yeah i was, caught stealing the meat agian, almost got charged for it to but dad somehow go us out of it."

"Wow, i bet you dad flipped when you got home!"

"Actually no he didn't." Just realising that myself."He didn't say anything at all..."

"Oh well man, lets just some fun now!"

So we had "fun", which is actually just terrorising the market stalls, for about an hour until down a street...

"Hey Nick, isn't that..." I said

"Yeah i think so, cant tell from this distance, Lets go find out!" And started down the street toward the person

"Are you nuts?!?" I exclaimed, grabbing Nick by the arm. "We cant."

"What? we cant talk to her? Does she bite?" said Nick making biting actions toward my arm

"Leave off Nick!" I said angrily, letting go of his arm and shoving him."You know perfectly well why we cant talk to her. Her father will kill me!"

"Aw come on, what her father doesn't know wont hurt him"then he ran off down the street toward the girl sitting there.

"NICK! Argh for Kardon's sake!" and with that i ran off after him.
