Angel:

Suddenly my whole body was seemingly covered in hot, welcoming water. My body felt warm, covered with something I couldn't name, but nevertheless, it was something which felt amazing, as if you would take a nice hot shower.

But, of course, there was always something to complain about, something terrifying and in the dark I could see it perfectly:

I was glowing.

Every part of my skin lighted up with an unnatural kind of blue light, that cut through the surface of my skin and seemed to come from within. Instead of my veins, there was this superficial substance I couldn't name.

I sat up, leaned against the cardboard of my bed and rubbed my eyes; maybe I was just dreaming? But no, unfortunately, this was not a dream, it was real. My eyes popped up wide, my glimmering, burning hands clasped my mouth. How could this happen?

I was trying to get a grasp of my thoughts, to find a way, to search for a way, but it was impossible, my thoughts just seemed to swirl around like a lost bird trying to find its own way, my body rocking back and forth, single tears escaping the rim of my eyes.

What I didn't know then was that every night would be just as this one, sometimes I would even glow like a fireball.

Everything had just begun.
