I stared at him.

Was he really telling the truth? But why would he lie to me? Why would he come up with a lie all of a sudden and why? No, it wasn't actually possible that he was lying...but what if? But why would he make the effort...? So what if it was really true? We were what again, socius? We were tied? If he was actually really telling the truth that meant, he had the same powers as I did.

"But how do you know that?" I asked him. We were sitting in a coffee shop and sipping on each of our coffees and talking, better said me asking questions and him answering as far as he could. "How do you know that we're socius?" I added.

"That one's easy, each fairy has a kind of power or kinesis, however you want to call it, we actually call it talent or power because we see it as positive. There are four elements: fire, water, earth and air, I think there's something similar to that in this world though. But anyways those four elements are the main talents and then there are split groups, for example power of lightning is a split group of fire because it can burn things too. I you want to have another example, there is the power of nature, a subgroup of the element earth, hot and cold weather like an especially windy day is made by a subgroup of the element of air, the sea can overflow by the element water, there are also other talents, for example the power of controlling glass but that's not assigned to a certain subgroup but is more of a subgroup of the whole system, but the Fairys who have that talent are really rare so the system actually didn't want to capture a whole new element for them but unofficially, they're in the middle of it all, some call it the extra element because they're so rare to find." He explained.

"And back to your question, there are certain tricks to track you from the system when you use your powers and the system uses them regularly, so it wasn't actually that hard to find. Socius are marked. Some for example glow in the night when they are not ready yet to control their power, just like you did when I first visited you, there are also other kinds of marks, for example a ring etched to your skin from the moment you get your powers, an extraordinary color of eyes or an aura that surrounds you all the time, just like a blinking light to your eyes or a flash of light whenever you speak or something. So speaking logically, we were actually really lucky that nobody caught us from this world." He explained furthermore. He leaned back into his wooden chair and looked around the coffee shop as if it was some kind of spectacle.

"So you're saying you were once too born in this world and raised here?" I asked after a while of silence. His amber colored eyes wandered to mine again before he answered my question.

"No, not exactly. I was born here because my parents were both human beings and my existence was something shocking which caused them to die at some time because I couldn't actually control my talent but then they got me into fairyland and raised and mentored me there right after that incident and later I only came here if I had business I had to do, the system could delete my files of existence here so I didn't have to attend the schools here or switch from this world to my world. And then I visited you, your mark is captured in the files of the system by the way, that's how I knew we were socius: throughout the system." He said while tracing down random patterns on the table.

I had to think about the things he said for a while before nodding slowly. I took the cup in my hands again and asked "So what am I going to do now?" after taking a sip from my cup.

"The system searches for you. After you swear an oath that you would keep quiet about the existence of the Fairyworld they invite you to a mentor session and then you can continue your life the way you want to, either here or there, or you can just take the mentor sessions to improve your skills and hide better and still live here, the decision is yours after the oath." He stated. He examined my face for unexplained reasons.

"What's the oath saying exactly?" I tried to question as casually as possible. My coffee was cold now as well as the tips of my fingers.

"Quoting: 'I, your name, swear by my talent and my existence and allowance into Fairyland that doesn't tolerate any criminals as liars in its world, that I will keep quiet about this land and the different talents. If there's someone who has seen any signs of the actuality of our talents, the powers of the folks of Fairyland, the Fairys, then I may suffer the worst punishment, the unauthorized and banned life of Fairyland and the submittal of my powers.' I admit, it sounds really strange at first and it sounds so stuck up and you might or might not be afraid of us right now but that's the purpose of the oath." He declared.

"So, what are you going to do now?" he demanded a moment later.

"That was what I was asking you just now!" I exclaimed helplessly. I sighed exhaustedly and let my head into my hands.

So, there was Fairyland, talents, socius and Razziel and among all that, there was me. What exactly had I gotten myself into?

After a while of overthinking everything that could possibly go wrong, I finally spoke up.

"Whenare we going to leave?" my own uncertain voice sounded. Suddenly he snappedwith his fingers and abruptly we were enchanted in blue light and wandering offinto a for me unknown land.
