Chapter 8: the date part 3

---Dalton's point of view---

Crap were gonna be late! We got in the car and drove to a lake I use to go to a lot. by now it was getting dark it's 5:30 already. Jenny is blind folded again cause I just want everything to be a surprise.

"Dalton is blind folding me necessary?"

"Very. I need to make sure everything is perfect before you see it." Where are the boys? did they set up dinner? I walked around with Jenny on my back for a while looking for the boys. found them. and they have dinner set up. My phone started vibrating.

-Text conversation-

Cole: dalt where are you? everything's ready for you guys.

Dalton: we're coming and I see you guys. thank you so much you guys are the best friends ever

Cole: no problem the boys and I are leaving have fun!

Dalton: we will😏

Cole: hey that's my sister! nothing gross. keep it pg.😡

Once I saw the boys leave I put Jenny down and took off the blind fold. she looked around for a minute

"Dalton. This place. Its beautiful."

"That's why I brought you here. come on dinners over here." I grabbed her hand and we interlocked our fingers together. this just feels so right. Coles mom made us dinner cause I don't know a thing about cooking. she made us sushi. yes made us how cool.

"I love sushi so much!" she she practically screamed. she wasn't using chop sticks.

"Wanna learn how to use chop sticks?" I asked as I picked up her pair

"Sure I've always wanted to learn." I grabbed her right hand and placed the chop sticks in her hand correctly. I showed her how to pick up the sushi she figured it out really quickly. we finished our dinner 5 minutes later. it was now 6:00.

"Come on let's go we have more to do! and don't worry the boys should be here any second to clean up the food." I texted cole 'were done'

"There's more to do! dalton this is a super magical date!"

"Follow me!" I yelled as I pointed towards the lake and ran. She laughed and started running. dang she's fast. I stood in front of a speed boat. "ready?" the lake is really big so we can go a

"This is yours?" She asked kinda surprised

"Yep, well my dad bought it for my family." I got on the boat and helped her get on. I sat in the captions chair and she sat next to me. We left the area where we has the boat and drove around. we were going like 50 mph. then I stopped the boat and dropped the anchor. By now the only light was from the moon or from near by buildings. we sat in silence for a few minutes. Everything was perfect. She's perfect today's perfect. the weather is perfect

--- Jenny's point of view---

Today was by far one of the best days I have ever had. nothing could beat this other than when we won worlds and majors back at cheer athletics. we were just enjoying each other's company. Is dalton the one for me? I honestly couldn't tell you. just 3 weeks ago I thought Matt Smith was the only guy for me. but that changed quickly. I wonder if Dalton thinks I'm the only one for him?

"Jenny, I just wanted say thank you again." dalton said breaking me away from my thoughts.

"Your welcome, but I should be the one saying thank you. this day couldn't be better. all thanks to you... and the boys." He just smiled a little and put his arm around me. he could feel my goose bumps I guess cause before I knew it he was taking off his jacket and put it around me. I looked upbeat him and kissed him on the cheek and I just kept looking at him. and before I knew it his lips were on mine. I'm smiled to let him know I liked it and we kept kissing. that was probably one of the best kisses I have ever had. We broke away with smiles bigger than the sun then he started playing the guitar and sang.

"Jennifer, you may find this crazy or to soon but I think I love you." there was a moment of silence that felt like a life time.

"Dalton, this isn't crazy it's the truth, I love you." we kissed for what felt like eternity. dalton stopped kissing and pulled back.

"There's one last thing i have to before I take you back."

"What is it we have done so much!" I said. he grabbed my hands and looked me in the eyes

"Jennifer Anne Pendery, will you be my girlfriend?" I smiled and kissed him in the lips.

"So is that a yes?" he said jokingly to me

"Yes of coarse i'd love to be your girlfriend!"

"Yippee!!" I just smiled at laughed at his comment. "Come on let's head back to the beach. I told cole id have you home by 11." Dalton told me as he grabbed the anchor. then we drove back the the land hand in hand.

Awe how precious they are finally officially dating! anyways thanks for reading i will defiantly write more tonight/ tomorrow I have a cold day tomorrow so no school for me.
