Chapter 14: Jamie Andries

---Jenny's point of view---

I just got out of the shower and decided to call Jamie.

*phone call*

Jenny: hey boo thang

Jamie: wadup buttercup!

Jenny: just missing you.

Jamie: awe I miss you to

Jenny: come a visit me this weekend. I know you don't have a competition.

Jamie: okay I'll ask my mom today!

Jenny: Come tomorrow were having a party for dalton on the 6th.

Jamie: okay well I gotta go I'm driving

Jenny: okay bye love you

Jamie: love you too I'll call you later.

*end phone call*

I really wanted Starbucks so I texted dalton to see if he wanted to meet up. he said sure so I drove to Starbucks. We arrived at the same time.

"Hey babe" dalton kissed my lips.

"Hey almost birthday boy" I said as I grabbed his hand and went in line.

"I'm almost 18 I'm not a boy anymore." He said crossing his arms

"What are you then? cause surly your not a man."

"Hey don't be rude to me."

I just giggled at his sass.

We ordered our drinks and two cookies and sat down at an empty table.

"Jamie might come for your birthday party. I really want you to meet her. you guys will like her."

"I can't wait to meet her. from what I heard she sounds um awesome."

"She is awesome. and her tumbling is amazing."

"Crap I'm late. I have to go. I'm so sorry. I'll talk to you tonight. love you babe." he said kissing my lips fast.

"Love you too babe." I sighed and finished my coffee. at times I feel like his work takes over his life sometimes. But it's what he loves to do. I didn't even know I was zoned out still sitting in Starbucks until I heard my phone ring.

*phone call*

Jamie: practice has been canceled for the rest if the week! My mom said I can get a plane ticket for la and fly out tomorrow!

Jenny: yay so excited! I can't wait for you to meet dalton! bring your swim suite and some hot clothes cause we are partying!!!" I said in a loud enough voice that people stated at me.

Jamie: okay! And yea dalton he seems cool. I'll see you tomorrow! bye!

Jenny: bye jay!

*end phone call*

I threw out my trash and went to the car and just sat there for a minute. I started thinking, which is never good, what if dalton wasn't at im5 practice. he usually tells me where he's going. what if he's cheating on me? he wouldn't do that would he?

I called him. no answer.

---Dalton's point of view---

I feel so bad for leaving like that but I can't let her know everything right now. God I'm a terrible boyfriend. I can't let her know what happened last summer. Things will just get awkward.

"Hey guys" I said walking into the house. "is Jenny here?"

"No I don't think so. I thought she went for coffee with you." cole said kinda confused
