Chapter 19: coles birthday

---Coles point of view---

It's been 2 weeks and Jamie got an offer to cheer at California Allstars on the same team as Matt. she moved in with Jenny's mom and us. I haven't told her how I felt yet but we gotten so much closer. today's my birthday and I'm gonna tell Jamie tonight how I feel and hope she feels the same way. I got out of bed and went down stairs for breakfast.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Everyone screamed. Jamie attacked me with a hug. they made me pancakes and bacon with hash browns.

"Thanks guys it looks amazing." I said as I cut the pancakes.

"So what are we doing today birthday boy?" my mom came into the kitchen and gave me a hug and kiss.

"mom I'm 18 I'm a man now!" we all just laughed. "I think we should go somewhere."

"Wow thanks captain obvious." Jenny joked.

"How bout mini golf?" Dana suggested.

"Ya that would be fun." Jenny agree

"I'm not very good.. but I'll try" Jamie smiled

"I can help you." I told her with a little smile peaking through my lips.

"Okay but you guys can't make fun of how bad I am." Jamie giggled. we all nodded our heads in agreement.

"So mini golf it is!" Dana yelled"

"When do we leave?" Jenny asked while putting away some plates.

"How about 2 o'clock?" dalton said as he looked at the clock. it's 12:00 now.

"Well I'm going to go shower. thank you for breakfast." I said handing my plate to Jenny.

"No problem birthday man." dalton said jokingly. I just rolled my eyes and walked up stairs.

--- Jamie's Point of view---

I put on my favorite white capris and a pink crop top showing off a little of my abs. I straightened my blonde hair and put in my typical everyday makeup. I put on a pair of tan sperry top siders and went down stairs. I saw that Dana and Will were already ready to leave

"Hey Dana. Hey Will" I said sitting next to them on the couch.

"Hey Jamie" they said at the same time.

"You look extra pretty today. could it be because of cole?" Dana said nudging my arm wait for an answer.

"Maybe. am I crazy? does he even like me?"

"Are you kidding me he's.." will was cut off by Danas hand cupping his mouth

"Will shut up!"

"Sorry" dana took his hand off of Wills mouth.

"Anyways," Dana said back to me "so you like our dear friend cole?"

"I mean of coarse i do," I've liked him ever since I'm first met him but I wasn't gonna tell the guys that. "he's really cute and funny."

I added blushing a little.

"Awe someone's blushing" Dana said touching my cherry red cheeks. cole and dalton walked down stairs it was now 1:50.

"So why is Jamie blushing?" cole asked wiggling his eye brows.

"Oh no reason" i said hiding my face. Cole was wearing a gray dress shirt and a black skinny tie. he has a pair of black skinny jeans on and a pair of converse. Dalton was wearing a pair of jeans with his my chemical romance shirt. We were just waiting for Gabe and Jenny. a few minutes later Gabe walked down stairs looking very fashionable with his black skinny jeans, gray shirt, and leather jacket matches with a pair of boots. lastly Jenny came down in her skinny jeans rolled once at the bottom so they are just above her ankles a light blue crop top and black ballet flats. her hair is curled and make up is done like normal. it was 2 o'clock so we left.

Skip car ride

We arrived at the mini golf place. Bought the tickets to enter and got the putters and golf balls we needed.

"This is gonna be so much fun!" I screamed walking out side of the store on the the mini golf course.

"Okay who's first?" Jenny asked so we can write down scores.

"How about cole cause it his birthday." will suggested Jenny wrote down his name.

"Next?"

"Me me pick me!" dalton started jumping and screaming sounding like a little kid.

"Okay" Jenny wrote down dalton

"Then Jamie can go." cole suggested. we finished the list. it went Cole, Dalton, Me, Jenny, will, dana, and gabe.

Cole went. he got a hole in one.

"Wohoo! Did you guys see that?" cole said smiling

"Good job cole, but watch the pro." dalton said stepping up to the tee. he swung and missed the ball completely. we couldn't help but laugh.

"Yep you're the pro." Jenny said giving him a little peck on the lips.

He tried again and actually hit it this time. he went out of bounds. now it was my turn. I stood in front of the tee about to swing.

"Jamie, here let me help you. You're not really standing right." cole put his arms around mine and gripped my hands that were already holding the putter. i started blushing. Dana and Gabe started joking around whistling and saying things like "oh lala Coles making his move." I could feel cole tense up. Then he calmed down and whispered in my ear "keep your eyes on the ball. 1. 2. 3." And he brought back my arms and we hit the ball. The ball was only like a foot away from the hole.

"yay!" I screamed and gave cole a hug.

"Good job!" Cole said hugging back

Jenny went she got a hole in one too.

"I guess mini golfing is a Pendery game." she laughed and fist bumped her brother.

Everyone else went and did okay mostly got it in 2 or 3

We did a few more holes and decided to be done.

Holding Jamie today like that just seemed perfect. I wonder if she thinks the same. I hope I plan to ask her out tomorrow after I talk to Jenny about her.

We went back to the house where my mom had dinner already made us. she made my favorite food, filet mignon, it was so good.

"Hey can we do presents now?" Jenny asked standing up from the table.

"Sure" I replied

Everyone left to get their presents.

"Here open mine first." Jenny handed me my present. I opened it. it was 2 tickets to the circus

"Thanks sis!"

"I was thinking you and Jamie could go."

"Ya that would be fun do you wanna go Jamie?" I asked her.

"Yea that would be amazing."

I opened the boys presents. they got me a razor.

"Oh wow really funny. I'm not shaving."

"It was worth a shot. here's your real present." dalton handed me a box that had my favorite cologne.

"Awe thanks guys" I said smiling.

"here's my present" Jamie said with a smile. I opened it it was a red tie and a black dress shirt.

"Thanks I love it."

My mom gave me a nice jacket.

After dinner and cake we all watched a scary movie. Jamie sat next to me and hid in my chest when she got scared. Jenny and dalton did the same and Dana will and Gabe were all comforting each other. it was a great. after the movie I noticed Jamie was asleep so I stayed there with her and we slept on the couch. dalton and Jenny went up to her room. Dana will and Gabe stayed on the ground.
