Dear Mama,

I don't wanna die just yet. It's not that I don't want to see you or Daddy, it's just that, I'm not ready. I still haben't got to seen the things that I want to see. I still haven't experienced what I need to experience. This can't be God's plan for me. I will fight until the very end. And guess what, Mama? I'm going to survive.

Yours Forever and Always,

Diamond Dahlia

P.S. If I see you again, please remember to tell me what my real name is.

Diamond tucked the letter in her right boot and kept walking. She had written that letter while she was with the killjoys. She looked around the "camp", she looked at Frank, Gerard, Mikey, Ray, and even Bob. They were all asleep. The fire had become dim, and she still couldn't fall asleep. She tried to lay down and close her eyes but to no avail. She was laying between Bob and Frank. She sat up and looked around, everything was still and quiet, peaceful. For a moment, it felt safe and secure. She sighed and Frank stirred in his sleep. Her eyes moved to Frank, his back was turned to her. She sighed softly and layed back down. Little did she know, he wasn't asleep at all.

"Pssst" Frank softly whispered, "Are you asleep?"

"No," Diamond said, "Why?"

Frank turned to look at her.

"Y'know when you hugged Bob," he started, "I was kinda jealous."

"Why?" Diamond asked playfully.

"Well, I don't know" Frank scoffed, "I'm just weird like that."

Diamond giggled softly, then she hugged Frank.

"Well," Diamond started, "Now you got your hug."

Frank smiled, "Can we just stay like this for the whole night, I don't know... It's kinda nice."

"Okay," she smiled back and he hugged her tighter.

The next morning, Diamond was awake before everyone else. She took a short walk around the perimeter of the camp. Then, she heard some shuffling. She started to become worried, but realized it was only Gerard. When she saw him, she let out a sigh and just looked around.

Gerard walked up to her and smiled.

"Hey," he started, "What's up?"

"Nothing," Diamond answered, "I'm just bored as hell, y'know."

"Yeah," Gerard said, "I know."

"How long until we get to the divide?"

"I don't know. Probably a few days."

"Well, I'm restless, I miss the killjoys."

"Hey," Gerard started, "That reminds me, when you first came to us, you called me Party Poison, is he a killjoy?"

"Yeah," she answered, "He had red, fiery hair and he looked exactly like you, but colorful, and he was an awesome guy that I knew... Well, I barely really know him, he's just some radical guy that everyone talked about."

A breif paused followed.

"How did you die?" Gerard blurted.

Diamond was caught off guard, but smiled and answered.

"I was shot by a terrible person," she answered.

"I'm sorry I asked," Gerard said worriedly.

"It's okay, it doesn't bother me," She glanced up at him,"What bothers me is that that the man who was responsible for me almost dying, and possibly the death of a lot of inncoent people is still alive."

He sighed and looked at her. He got up and walked toward LynZ. By now, everyone was awake. Bob and Frank looked at Diamond who sat on a fallen log. Frank wanted to walk towards her, but he also wanted to stay with Jamia. He ended up staying with Jamia and Bob went over to Diamond.

"How long have you been awake?" He asked as he put a hond on her shoulder.

She looked up at him and smiled, "For about thirty minutes, I wish I had fallen back asleep because I am bored as hell."

He scoffed as he sat besides her, "Well, I'm awake now and with you."

Diamond rested her head on his shoulder, and Bob put his arm around her. Then, they started to talk.

Somewhere in the camp, Christa and Ray started to hang out together and started a fire to cook food for the rest of the guys. Gerard and LynZ helped Ray and Christa and they talked while doing so. Frank and Jamia went for a walk around the camp and through the forest. Diamond just looked around while her head was restin on Bob's shoulder.

They sat on the log for a moment then, Ray went to them and told them that breakfast was ready. So, they sat around the campfire eating the food that Christa and Ray had cooked for them.

"So," Ray began, "How's the food?"

"It's great!" Frank answered.

"Yeah," Gerard smiled as he patted Ray's back, "It's the first good meal that we had in a while!"

A breif, delightful silence for a while.

When they finished their meals, they sat around the fire for a while in silence until LynZ broke it.

"Well," she said as she stood up, "We better pack up so we can start walking."

"Yeah, I guess so," Alicia said as she guestured to Mikey.

Everyone stood up and started to pack up. When they finished, they headed towards the road, and made their way up north.
