"Okay," Lyn-Z replied, "We'll join you, as long as you don't cross us."
"If you do," Alicia half-smiled as she raised an eyebrow, "Well, you know..."
Mikey gulped, and started to break a sweat. Could he be intimidated by her? A girl?
"D-Deal," Gerard stuttered, trying to keep his cool.
Lyn-Z smiled at Alicia and Jamia, then signaled them to untie the men and Diamond. Jamia untied Frank and Christa untied Ray while Alicia untied Mikey and Bob. Then, Lyn-Z untied Gerard and Diamond. The bandmembers fell to their knees along with Diamond.
"Thank you for being gentle with us," Frank smirked sarcastically at Jamia.
Jamia scoffed, rolling her eyes at him, then, turned away smiling as she looked at Christa.
"If we wanna get to the divide before it gets completely dark," Diamond started, "We should get a move-on."
"Well," Lyn-Z smiled, "You guys heard the girl, let's go."
Just like that, they gathered their things together and made their way through the forest, following the dark road. They walked the whole morning, trying not to be seen by any passing paraders that were searching for them. They knew that it wouldn't be long before they noticed they were gone, so, they tried their best not to be seen by any of the paraders.
They walked and walked, taking breaks and stops to catch their breath. On their third break, they were halfway to their destination and decided to stop for a little while. Diamond sat on a fallen log, examining everyone's faces, they all looked tired and exhausted, but still beautiful and polished. It's weird to her that these people, no matter how much dirt on their faces, could look like the most beautiful people she had ever seen.
Frank sat on the ground, resting against a different tree, legs spread with his arms resting on his knees. When Diamond looked at him, he flashed her a smile that made Diamond feel nervous, but comfortable at the same time.
Mikey sat with Alicia, talking to her. Every now and then, they'd hear laughter and giggles comming erupting from them. Diamond looked at them, and thought Hey, they would make an amazing couple. She smiled, and of course, Gerard nudged her arm.
"So," he started, "What are YOU smiling about?"
"Yeah," Lyn-Z smirked as she sat next next to Gerard.
"Oh," Diamond smiled, "Don't you think that Alicia and Mikey would make just the cutest couple?"
"Oh Definitely," Lyn-Z replied.
"For sure!" Gerard added.
As Gerard and Lyn-Z talked, Jamia and Frank seemed to hit it off.
"H-Hey," Jamia smiled as she sat next to Frank.
"And she speaks!" Frank smirked, "Just kidding, How are you?"
Jamia giggled and replied, "Oh, well, let's see, I'm trying to leave this place with my three best friends, and five men I've just only met this morning, who is carrying a young girl with them. So, I guess I've been do good."
Frank laughed a little, and Jamia smiled. They also made a cute couple, according to Diamond who now, has drifted from the conversation with Lyn-Z and Gerard (who, in her eyes, also made a great couple). Instead, she focused her attention the golden-haired man who sat on the dirt, making random lines on the ground with a stick. Seems like everyone had someone to talk to, everyone except her... and him.
She got up and made her way towards the man. No one noticed her get up, so, no attention was drawn to her. She sat next to him, criss-crossed legs.
"Hello,"she said.
"Hi," he replied, his focus still on the drawings he was making with the stick.
"What's your name?" she asked, trying to sound as friendly as she could without being super awkward.
He turned his head to face her, his bright blue eyes sparkling in the rays of sun that shined through the trees, he smiled a half smile and said, "I'm Bob. Bob Bryar."
Diamond smiled awkwardly at him, his focus now on her, "My name is-"
She was interupted by him, "Diamond... I know."
They talked for a while, told jokes, and laughed together. They seemed to hit it off... But somehow, Diamond couldn't shake away an ominous feeling she had. Whether it was towards him or not, it still bugged her.
After about half an hour of talking and such, they got up and started walking again. This time, however, things had changed. Mikey had his arm around Alicia as they walked, laughing together. Gerard had his arm around Lyn-Z's waist, and Lyn-Z's arm around his. Frank and Jamia held hands and talked the whole time. Diamond and Bob felt out of place... Well, Diamond did at least.
Diamond and Bob talked together, and followed the other's down the path to the divide. They all seemed to have a fantastic time.Together, they smiled, laughed, and told stories. They all started to bond with each other, and it seemed like the start of many beautiful relationships.
By, now, everyone had someone to talk to. Everyone seemed to hit it off. Gerard had LynZ, Frank had Jamia, Ray had Christa, Mikey had Alicia, and Bob had Diamond.
Everything was going well, when out of no where, the impossible had happened.
