Frank tried to start a fire as the group watched him. Diamond sat away from the group. She was distant and it bothered everyone, but they thought they might as well just leave her alone. Jamia kept looking back at her, she felt so terribly sorry. Jamia wanted to help, but she didn't know how. She didn't know how to attack the problem and it bothered her. After minutes of think and looking back at Diamond and gathering up her own courage, she got up and walked over to her. Jamia got a lot of suprised looks from the others, but she didn't care. She was on a mission.

"Hey," Jamia smiled.

Diamond looked up and replied, "Hey."

"Why are you moping around?" Jamia asked, "Bob wouldn't have-"

Jamia stopped after she had just realized what she said.

"I am so sorry I mentioned that, it's just-"

"No," Diamond half-smiled, "It's fine. I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted me to mope around like either. Thanks, Jamia."

"What?" Jamia asked surprisingly, "What for?"

"Just being here and actually making an effort to talk to me," Diamond smiled, "Thanks for being a friend, I guess."

"No problem," Jamia smiled, then she stood up, "Well, there's no use crying and excluding yourself from everyone else."

She held her hand out, "C'mon, Diamond, let's sit with the others."

Diamond grabbed her hand and they walked towards their group, who sat around the fire in a big circle. Jamia plopped down next to Frank and Diamond plopped next to Mikey.

"Glad you could join us," Gerard smirked as he looked up at Diamond from the other side of the fire,"

"Good to be here," she replied.

Mikey started to talk to Diamond.

"So," he started, "How do you feel?"

"Considering all that ha happened," she half-smiled as she looked up at him,"I've been alright."

"This quite a predicament we've faced," Gerard interrupted, "unexpected, really."

Diamond looked at "Well, yeah."

"The only thing that matters is that we stay strong and carry on," Ray smiled as he looked at everyone, "Its not about the people that had stabbed us behind the back or the people that we've lost, but if we chose to keep going."

"Wise words from Ray Toro," Frank smiled, "Wise and true."

Frank looked at Diamond.

"Honestly," he started, "We wouldn't be here without you, y'know that?"

Gerard smiled, "You gae us hope that this whole trip was possible."

Diamond blushed slightly.

"Diamond," Mikey smiled, "You showed us that we aren't lost spirits, just wandering around. You opened our eyes."

"You gave us hope," Jamia added.

"You gave everyone hope that we would one day have the courage to move along," LynZ smiled.

"Yeah," Alicia smiled, "You even introduced us to these wonderful men."

"Without you we wouldn't have found the love of our lives," Christa added, "Thanks to you, I found Ray, LynZ found Gerard, Alicia found Mikey, and Jamia found Frank."

"You are so important to us," Gerard smiled, You're our savior."

Now, it was Diamond's turn.

"Without you guys," Diamond started, "I wouldn't have found Bob and I wouldn't have spent as much time as I did with him. I also wouldn't have made such amazing friends, and I wouldn't be going home right now."

After that, they all kept talking into the night until they fell asleep.

The next day, they walked to the divide. This was definitely it for sure. They would be there, finally, after days of walking and waiting, they would finally reach their destination.
