Silee closed the book titled 'The everlasting kingdom of Jia' that she had been reading and dragged out a long sigh. What silee had just read, she knew all of it already, if not more. But for some reason Ian was adamant that she still read this book encase she wasn't originally from this world and was mistaken.
Yet not only did silee confirm once again that she is definitely from this world but she had also confirmed where in this world she had ended up reincarnating. If there was one beneficial thing she had redeemed from this book, it was that it gave a little jog to the memories that had been collecting dust in the corners of her mind.
The kingdom of Jia is one of the largest countries in the world and it is mostly populated by humans, with few of its inhabitants of the beast or demon race. In the entire kingdom of Jia, there are seven states that were split, forged and named after the seven generals leading the millennium wars that had ended roughly two thousand years ago. It was thanks to these generals and the people they had led into war that the Kingdom of Jia became what it is today.
The millennium war is a historic moment for all of humanity. It was the first time humans had stood their ground against the divine race, also known as the god race. There was slaughter and many lives were lost, but if not for this war, humanity today wouldn't be living so freely.
Every Magi learns about this when they first start practicing the Truth because it was during the Millennium wars that the Term Magi first came into existence. The sudden rise of Magi was the turning point in the war. It had given the humans the upper hand and laid waste to the race known as the Divines. If not for the rise of Magi's, the Divines would have still been ruling the land of Jia with an Iron-clad fist, hence why a Magi's existence stands so high among human society. And among the seven generals whom had led the Millennium war, three of them were powerful first-age Magis.
Silee sighed. She didn't really care too much about the millennium wars, so the knowledge she held of it were no different than a common historians. The plain truth is that it had never interested her in wanting to pursue it more.
What she does know, is that hierarchy is the same no matter where in the world she goes.
The strong rule the weak.
Unfortunately, silee ended up reincarnating into the second lowest realm in the kingdom of Jia, commonly known as the state of Rune and named after the general who had scouted in the millennium wars.
Silee pushed away from the little wooden desk and stood up with a groan. She felt like she had aged a few years just sitting there, even though she had only been sitting there for ten minutes at most. Without glancing back, she stepped outside of the little cottage Ian was allowing her to stay in for the time being, until both sides of the deal was completed, and took in a deep breath.
It was located at the far edges of the brothel, surrounded by leafless trees and unpaved ground. This little cottage had probably seen better days but silee was just glad that it had a little patio area of it's own, that was kept clean and made a perfect spot for silee to meditate in without the worry of being disturbed.
Silee walked over to the only tree brimming with life and sat down cross-legged beneath it. The night air was cool and washed away all the fatigue that was threatening to pull her under. During her stay at the farm, she had regained enough of her strength to recover lost sleep by meditating. As long as she had a quiet and fresh space to practice in, then this was possible.
However, she couldn't always rely on this method to recover. Using it three days in a row was a max in her current condition and today was the third day. After that, she'll have to rely on the small wooden bed in the little cottage for the following week.
