No matter where in the world, every dungeon shared the same qualities.

Mildewy walls, rotting floors, mysterious sludge mountains and corners full of darkness with only a single burning candle that sent excessively creepy shadows dancing across the cold, hard surfaces.

Silee found Redlight city was no exception in this regard.

"Dump them in a cell together. "

Staring one last time at the duo, the haughty young miss snorted once before collecting her long skirts and scurrying out of the dungeons. Along the way out, her face paled as she narrowly avoided stepping in some mysterious black sludge numerous times.

The guards threw Silee and her accomplice into the same cell before dusting off their hands and leaving the way they came, taking extra precaution on where they stepped. Not a word was said by the guards, but considering how smug they appeared, nothing was needed to be said.

Turning her head slightly, silee found her accomplice crouched near the bars and staring at her with a smile gracing his face.

"I didn't think we'll meet again so soon." He said.

Silee crouched down comfortably and poked at a nearby mound of sludge with a sword she had borrowed from one of the guards. As for the victim of thievery, he had yet to notice his scabbard was empty.

After a long pause did Silee soeak.

By then, the sludge had already been poked into small, indescribable chunks.

"What is your real name?" She asked.

The young man laughed, "Francis. Named after the mad king."

"And you're an illusionist?"

"Nope."

Silee stopped and raised an eyebrow at Francis.

During her stay on the farm, Silee's grandmother had helped out a young woman who had been without a home. She fed, clothed and comforted the girl for two days. Apparently, the young woman had been chased out of her home by her evil step-sisters and step mother. Her step mother had even lied to her father and told him that the girl was going to live with her new husband. Of course, there was no husband, let alone a boyfriend.

Thus the young woman was without a home. She tried to contact her father but everytime she was intersected by the evil step mother.

As tragic as the story sounded, silee had never believed it. But she also didn't try to open her grandmothers eyes. She actually felt the young woman was truly tragic in some way.

And even finding out that this young woman is actually a young man didn't change her opinion. Though, she wished to change a few things she had done in front of this person.

But, he says he isn't an Illusionist? If he isn't an illusionist, then how did he manage to pull off such a good disguise? She never sensed anything was off when she was around him back then...was he just that good?

She only realised why he seemed familiar when they were thrown in the cell together. Despite the facial features looking entirely different, his build and height were the same.

And that annoyingly friendly attitude.

Silee couldn't help but feel a little dejected though. She really had regressed so much.

As if reading her mind, Francis chuckled and explained, "It wasn't magic I was using but Medicine."

Unexpectedly, Silees attention sharpened.
