"If we strike here we will have the upper hand. There's one way out and with our blockade set up here they will all fall to their knees. More forces of the Scourge are waiting for us as we speak." I say, pointing at the mountaintop on the map.
"And what of Arthas?" Levante— my bat-handler, asks.
"For now, we let him be. I need more planning before going against him. His power is unbelievably powerful and overwhelms mine. His time will come." I say.
"I'll round up everyone. We'll see you outside, my queen." Alrendria— my guard captain, says, walking out of the war room.
I walk over to the tall glass window and stare out at the distance. It's beginning to rain even harder now. Thunderbolts are crashing against each other by the mountains. I still feel a little out of control over myself. The spell Arthas had put me under is weakening. Suddenly, a sharp whisper travels into my head.
"Return to me with your banshee army. I have something to show you. Someone wants to meet you atlas. Hurry, Sylvanas, I don't like to wait." Arthas's voice whispers, into my head.
That must be some kind of power he has. I wish I could do that. There has to be a way to make him weaker. I walk away from the window and walk out of the room. I meet up with my army in front of the castle. It's time to return to Ebon Hold with my family at my side.
"Change of plans. Arthas wants us all at Ebon Hold. Fly with me and stay close." I say, getting on my mount.
I fly into the air on top of my skeletal mount and wait for everyone else to get into the sky.
"Let's go!" I say, soaring off.
The wind is gusting back on my face giving a slightly harsh breeze. The sun is peaking out from it's night's rest under the surface. I can finally see Ebon Hold in the distance. I prepare for a landing on the platform. I safely land as before and hop off my mount. My hundreds of banshees land behind me as well, flooding the platform. I walk down the flight of stairs and look around for Arthas.
I don't see him anywhere so I walk over to the teleportation platform. I step into the beam of purple light and move along to the next floor. Arthas is consulting in a serious matter with three Dreadlords. I walk over to Arthas and the four of them turn around and stare at me.
"Sylvanas, is it done?" Arthas asks.
"My army is here and ready to fight." I answer.
"Good, good. These are the three Dreaords of the Burning Legion. They go by Varimathras, Balnazzar and Detheroc. We have something very important to do. Follow us." Arthas says, walking away with the three of them.
I follow them down a small hallway and down a flight of stairs. At the end of the stairs there is a door at the end of the hall. We walk towards it and Arthas opens the door. I close the door behind me and turn around to see a red crystal levitating in the center of the room. Arthas and the three Dreadlords form a circle around the crystal.
"Join us, Sylvanas. It's time we bring back an old friend. Everyone join hands." Arthas says.
I walk to the empty space to complete the circle. I grab Detheroc's hand and Balnazzar's hand. Arthas focuses on the crystal as his mutters soft words. Out of the blue, the crystal glows and starts forming electricity to rotate around it. A cloud of red smoke circles around the crystal as Arthas continues his spell. Finally, the crystal breaks and a huge pillar of ice shoots out in all directions. The four of us fly backwards into the wall from the brutal force.
"Kel'Thuzad, my good ole' friend. It's going to see you once again. I've done what you've asked and found our new Banshee Queen. It's time to take over the lands of Azeroth for our own." Arthas says.
"Very good, my child. You listen well. By the looks of it Frostmourne has done you well. Power is your new striking appearance now, you must have incredible powers. There can be so much more." Kel'Thuzad says.
Kel'Thuzad is a large skeletal figure with blue flames around his legs and head. I knew before that he was the founder of the Cult of the Damned. I've never seen him in person and I never had an interest too. I need to keep myself hidden and act the part. Arthas can't know that I'm breaking down his spell.
"Lordaeron awaits you, Kel'Thuzad. Are you ready to have control again?" Arthas says.
"I've never been more ready. Let's get a move on." Kel'Thuzad says.
"Indeed, we shall." I say.
"Don't go anywhere, I'll summon a portal." Kel'Thuzad says making a gesture with his hands.
Suddenly, a portal circles open and we all enter it. The world is spinning before my eyes as I travel through time. Everything seems to go so slow while everything is moving rapidly. Atlas, we are all out of the portal except for Kel'Thuzad. A few moments later, he appears with the Scourge and my banshees.
Lordaeron awaits our arrive as we stand outside their walls. Nothing will stand in our way.
"Kill every soul you find." Kel'Thuzad says, charging inside Lordaeron says.
We get inside the walls and inside the castle of Lordaeron. Humans rush out in armor battling against the Scourge. Ghouls slash their claws and rip them apart. My banshees swarm the castle section by section as they terrorized the humans. I get my bow out and set up my arrow so it's ready to fire. A bolt of fire bursts into my shoulder, causing it to burn like hell. I turn to my right and lower up in the guard tower and see a mage. I aim towards the mage and quickly pull back on the string and release it.
The arrow pierces into the mage's forehead. With a slight glimpse I can see the blood quiet out of the wound and drop down his face. Finally, we reach the inner section of Lordaeron and my banshees have slaughtered mostly everyone in here. This place is large enough to hold a real army. A small idea jumps into the back of my mind, maybe it will soon become a huge idea.
"Arthas, I have just received word that Malfurion and his men have killer Archimonde. Those Dreadlords are nothing good for us, they will try to take over one day. Trust me, that's how I died the first time and became trapped inside that crystal." Kel'Thuzad says, as I eavesdrop.
"Those bastards we be gone, my lord. They're holding us back. No longer shall they be an issue." Arthas says.
Lordaeron is now human-free and ready for us to take over.
"I believe this would be a perfect set up for the Burning Legion. Do you mind if we rule this place?" Balnazzar says to Kel'Thuzad.
"Lordaeron is mine. Your precious Archimonde has been slaughter by Malfurion. That leaves me next in the highest command. You all answer to me now." Kel'Thuzad says.
"We had no intention of going against any of you. There must be some kind of mistake if you truly think that. We mean no harm." Varimathras says.
"My queen, shall we start heading to Light's Hope?" Levante asks, flying over to me.
"Arthas, is Light's Hope still a go? We are ready to fight." I say.
"Go on. We'll see each other real soon, Sylvanas. I wouldn't miss our next meeting for anything." Arthas says.
