Brother's Dismisal

I focus my thoughts to potential allies for The Forsaken. Come to think of it I don't have a wide variety of knowledge. The Kirin Tor is the only ally I can think of. Most likely, my brother will be incapable of doing anything. I gather my thoughts while I collect a paper and ink. I take a seat and begin to write,

"Dear Rhonin,
I come across troubled times. Our last talk didn't go to my liking, but I understand your duties. I'm desperate for your help. Brother, please ally us in the war against The Lich King. However, we still face complications that block that path. I miss you and hope to hear back from you soon.

-Sylvanas, the Banshee Queen"

I roll the paper up and walk out of my room. I walk into the Rogues Quarter. Nathanos needs to be watched closely. There are a few rogues training as I approach from behind. Once noticing me they stand at a attention.

"You know the humans that are coming to kill us? They need to be watched. Stay from a distance and out of the open. Report back if anything dire comes to play. Otherwise, follow them and keep watch." I say.

"We'll see it done, my Lady." Bastion says.

The rogues party up and dismiss themselves. I must make my way to Brill, Vernal and his men are waiting for my next command. I exit the Undercity and saddle up. In a few minutes, I reach Brill getting welcomed with praises. Vernal and his men approach me.

"What's the order, my Queen. Me and my men will see it done. In and out, no problem." Vernal says.

"Cool your jets Rambo. Nathanos is going to expect an ambush. I know how he thinks and how he fights his battles. We're outnumbered by afar, in order to win we need to be cautious. We need help. That's why I met you here. My brother is in the Kirin Tor, they are powerful mages. Having them in our arsenal is a big advantage against The Lich King." I say.

"Rhonin? He's human... I don't know about this, my Lady. I do not mean to question you, but are you sure we can trust them? We are going to be killing their own kin." Vernal says.

"It's worth a shot. Quite frankly it's our only shot. We have no knowledge of the area nor allies. The Horde exists somewhere out there, but that mystery is for another day." I say.

A tremendous thud echoes from behind me. I turn around, curious of what caused it. I see a man walk out of a portal that quickly closes behind him. It's Rhonin.

"Sylvanas, enough. I've told you this before. My heart lies with The Alliance." Rhonin says, walking to me.

"Stand down men. This is my brother. If only family helped family— like described in the books..." I say.

"I'm afraid I can't help you, sister. The Kirin Tor are taking precautions until it's the right time." Rhonin says.

"And when is that? Each day his power only grows stronger! He must be stopped!" I say, raising my voice.

"And that day will come. When it's time. The Alliance will handle this situation. Do not get in their way, Sylvanas." Rhonin says.

"We have done nothing but mind our own business. Your kind assume they can walk in and take our land without consequences. This is our home." I say.

"Call off your scout party and make a truce. War between you and The Horde will only add my problems to The Alliance." Rhonin says.

"And what of us? Do we matter? All you care about is Kirin Tor, The Alliance, and yourself. I once knew a man who would go out of his way to help others. Selfless has turned into selfish." I say, with a chilling pitch to my tone.

Rhonin becomes frustrated and turns his back, beginning to walk away. A portal opens and he's about to depart. Until he stops a foot away from the portal to turn his head towards me.

"They'll be here in two days. That group in the mountains is a decoy. Call of your scouts and get ready for war. I came to warn you, I'm not as selfish as you may think." Rhonin says, afterwards he steps into the portal and vanishes.
