Cleo has been living with me for a few days now and I'm still not used to it. She met my mom yesterday and it went pretty well. Most moms would be concerned that her son was sharing a room with someone she didn't know but my mom was not even phased. I guess that's what you get from a mom who's never home.

I wake up with Cleo still connected to my body. We've been waking up closer to each other than imaginable. It's the best thing.

"Cleo... wake up..." I say in a sleepy tone.
"Ew Chris, your breath is horrible." I breathe onto her face and she screams. "CHRISS!!"

I laugh as I get out of bed, at least that woke her up.

"Do you want pancakes or eggs?" She asks walking towards her dresser that we put up in my room.
"I'm thinking eggs since we made pancakes yesterday."

She nods and starts to get dressed. I like how comfortable we are around each other. I still haven't kissed her yet and I don't think I ever will. I can't deal with that pain.

She goes into the bathroom to brush her teeth so I follow her. I wrap my hands around her waist and kiss her forehead, "I love you, Cleopatra."

"Ugh. Chris don't say my full name. We've been over this." I smirk and kiss her forehead again.

We brush our teeth and then decide to head out to make some breakfast. She makes the eggs while I set the breakfast bar for our meal.

We've gained a routine while she's been here and it's making me wish we could've started something sooner.

When she finally sets the eggs on the plates she comes around and sits in her place.
"Hey, Chris?" She asks with a mouthful of food.
"Yes?"
"What do you do for school?" I laugh at her question. It's the middle of September and I guess she's worried I'm missing school.
"I took courses this summer to graduate early. Now I'm taking a year off before college. It's good because now I can spend everyday with you."

She smiles and we eat the rest of our food in a silence that is calming and beautiful.

"Phase 2," she begins saying, "it's time we head out on our mission again Christian." It's been about a week since the school incident and I was beginning to wonder when we would start up again.

"What do we need to do?"
"Well I was thinking that we could go out and see what the world wants. Take an adventure." She smiles brightly. God knows that I have the money for an adventure so why not?

My dad was a entrepreneur before he died and he invested a lot of money into me. As long as I keep enough of the money for college in the account, I can spend the extra as I please. That's what my mom does.

"What did you have in mind?" I ask, honestly scared because she always has a crazy idea.
"Maybe we could go on a scavenger hunt!"
"What would we even be looking for?"
"That's for me to know and for you to find out, now lets go!!"

She pulls my arm and leads me to the front of our house. "Go to the car, i'll be out in a minute." So I head to the car silently, awaiting the day ahead of me.

I watch the front door, wanting it to open. I jump a little when I see it fly wide and watch Cleo run out. She slams the door closed and comes to the car.

"What did you get??" I ask perplexingly.
She simply points at her bag in a way of answering and cheekily smirks, "Well wouldn't you want to know."

"Just give me the dang directions, Cleopatra." She glares at me for a minute but decides to lead me on the way anyhow.

We get to a park and she tells me to pull into a spot. "I'm going to get out here. In an hour come back and follow the steps. Okay?"

I nod my head a little and she kisses my cheek before hopping out the car.

Once again, I'm left watching Cleo run away.
