I woke up the next morning in my bed with Cleo laying on my chest. I smile and wriggle my body down towards her to have our faces facing each other.

For some reason I can't get over her features and how beautiful she really is. I move the hair off her forehead and then lightly nudge our noses together. She giggles at the action and pulls me in closer to her. I rest my head on top of hers and fall asleep to the sound of her snoring.

"Chris... Hun. Wake up." I feel like I'm being shaken so I slowly lift my eyes open.
"Good morning, beautiful."
"Chris, it's 3pm." She laughs and I shake my head, how did I sleep that late.

"We need to start packing." I say to no one in particular while walking out of my room.
"But first," she says while running past me, down the hallway," Pancakes."

I giggle as I run past her into the kitchen and begin to set our breakfast bar, since it's her turn to cook breakfast. Cleo has only been here a month and it already feels like a lifetime.

"What're you thinking about?" I look up to see her staring at me, her eyes are searching for answers.
"Just about life."
"Like..?"
"Like how you've only been here a month and you already feel like family, or how unreal this all seems. Everything."

She smiles and resumes cooking again.

She finished cooking quickly and we start shoving our faces, simply excited for the day ahead of us.

"What should I bring again??" Cleo asks for the thirtieth time since breakfast.
"Warm clothes because it's winter and anything you want to have fun in." Groaning, She shakes her head and looks at all of her clothes on the floor.

I stand up after thinking for a few minutes and race over to my wallet. I pull out her debit card from our now joint account, and give it to her. She looks shocked and tries to hand it back.

"No, it's yours."
"Shutup and stop messing with me."
"Keep it. Go get some clothes." She honestly looks so pissed off and I'm not sure why.
"Christian, stop doing things for me. Please." Either way she still got up and went to my desk to grab my keys.

"Just because I'm leaving doesn't mean I'm not upset!" She screams on her way out the house. I laugh and continue to pack random things for our long trip to Europe.

It's been a few hours and Cleo still isn't home, I hope she's okay.

I finished packing my suitcase an hour ago, with the exception of toiletries and some shoes. I put on Agin, the new anime I have gotten into this past week. I check my phone after a few episodes and it's now 6pm.

I decide to call Cleo.
