Chapter 9: new

I gasped in horror as I open my eyes. I felt terrible, as I look around ................

Again, I was in the same room...white...so white and bright I wanted to scream..I felt so empty..

"Finally you're awake" 

I  was starstled by that voice.. again that strange  face greeted me with a warm smile. I immediately looked away.

"What happened to me?" 

"Hmm what happened to you is just normal for a human android, but you really recovered fast. That was really amazing."

"What are you talking about?"

"Look, we've successfully retrieved your human abilities,like eating human foods and also you can sleep now. Uhm but since everything will be new to you. You'll have a hard time from those changes, probably it will takes months for you to fully recover and be normal again" he was smiling again. I was gaping at him my eyes almost came out from my eye socket. What he said was totally unbelievable and horrible! How can I be a human again?!

"Ah everything I said was true. You've been sleeping for two months but we were expecting you to be awake six months from the time we tried to retrieved you but since your are exceptionally uhmm hmmm how can I say this" he was trying to think of the best word to describe me! this sucks!

"I am an android! and you can't change that!"

"Sorry to disappoint you but we did" I was caught in silence..I looked at him to see if he was really telling the truth. He looked back at me. My forhead creased, I saw truth in his eyes...

"Why are you doing all this things to me?" really it bugs me, why do they care for me? What's there reason why they are trying to help me?

"Because you are someone's life" he was so serious when he said those things "SOMEONE "

Who is that someone?!  I didn't look at him I just stared at the window and see the bright blue sky and those birds flying freely..I wish I could fly too...suddenly something hit me..my eyes grew wider and I gasped in realization..

"Where is he?" I asked him. By the way he looks at me I know he knew whom I  was looking.

"You can't see him rigt now or maybe for two weeks. He's in a mission" 

"What mission?" 

"Can't answer that, its too confidential. Well you can ask him once he comes back"

Suddenly, the door banged and group of humans came in with that mind boggling sound. They were all smiling at  me. They were all beautiful..I could say..the truth is I can't even describe them they all lhave silver-gray hair, aqua blue eyes in different shades and what really thicked me off was there grayish eyelashes and eyebrows..they were a bunch of weird humans or are they human at all?

"Devon!!!! Oh my God! It's really you!" 

I was shocked when she grabbed my face and stares at me with teary eyes. 

"Glad to see you here again and be with us, and oh I know! you don't remember me, I'm Kira, we were very close before" she said with so much bliss in her voice. I was so numb..I really don't remember these people. 

"Oh common,don't believe her. You two always fight with simple things, most especially with foods" 

said the other boy at her right side.Base on my assessment he's 6 feet and 2 inches, has a scar on his chin, but it was too light, not very visible with the human eyes unless they will really take a look on it. Later I learned that he was Keno, Kira's twin brother. After five minutes every one was laughing and talking to me as if  they really know me...I can't even utter a word or even ask them who are they to me? then after a while of listening to their nonstop talking mostly with their fights, I learned that they are the family of that male human...who claimed to be my husband..funny but how can I even believe them if I can't even remember their faces even the name of that person...

"You can't remember us for now, but give it some more and your memories will be back" 

I looked at him..If I'm not mistaken he was Inno...

"That's right I am Inno, glad you remember me" this time he was grinning.. everyone in the room fell into silence then Bliss screamed loudly.

"How come you remembered this cold blooded brother of mine????!!!!" she shouted.

I was startled with her reaction and dumbfouded as I stared at her.

"That that person told me about how I was once saved before"

Everyone glances each other knowingly..and I can't help myself to feel irritated.
