Charlotte, Ella And Juliet were free at last. Because there was absolutely no reason at all to stay at school, they were let out early. And that? That meant Fred.

As soon as she got off the Hogwarts Express, Charlotte spotted Fred standing there, just dangling her keys. Although feeling somewhat annoyed, it made her slightly relax. Only because, some distance away (Charlotte wasn't good with measurements), she could see her parents, with Castiel. Trying hard to avoid looking at them, Charlotte ran straight towards Fred, with Ella was dragging their luggage behind her- she was staying with Charlotte a couple of nights. "Thanks for the help, really appreciate it," she said, walking past them to where they could just see George, past the barrier.
"How'd exams go?" Fred asked, putting an arm around Charlotte as they started walking.
"Ah, you know. Forgetting stuff here, remembering something useless there, and thinking about the freedom afterwards... the usual." Fred snorted.
"So, do you even do the exams?"
"Oh yes. And the funniest things happened in the Charms' Theory, you're going to laugh your head off.." Charlotte started to say. Fred pat her back.
"Save it for the table, buddy."

Once by the front door of her flat, Charlotte felt a sense of home and comfort, she opened the door, just to find everything where she left it, except for a dog, which was on the sofa.
"Um, Fred? Where did the, er, dog come from?" she asked, turning towards her boyfriend who had (no surprise) headed straight for the kitchen.
"Dog? What dog? I don't- oh," Fred said, coming in. "Oh-ee."
"Maybe, he's, um, yeah, uh, nope. No excuse," Charlotte said, shaking her head.
"Oh, you're back!" Fred's eldest brother, Bill, exclaimed. He had some food in his hands. "Mum's wondering."
"Hey, Bill, um, why is there a dog on my sofa?" Charlotte asked.
"Well, it's a welcome back present! And a new home present! And a well-done-you-finished-school present!"
"Bill," Fred said.
"Okay, okay fine," he said, wondering round to the dog. "I was walking past an animal adoption shop today, and I just saw this little buddy, all alone. I couldn't help it. It was so sad. So, I bought him. And, being around your flat in the past few months, I discovered that you are, in actual fact, allowed small animals. Well, he's small, and he's an animal. I couldn't keep him, so I thought, why not you?"
"What if I was allergic to dogs?" Charlotte asked. Bill didn't look panicked.
"Well, are you?"
"No. But my brother is."
"Draco?" Fred asked. Charlotte nodded. "Are you sure he'll be allowed here?"
"I don't know. But, he does what the hell he wants in the day, and he's only got two years left at Hogwarts anyway."
"If you say so."
