As soon as she could, Charlotte sent back the message to Headquarters with Castiel.
"Will anyone be there still?" Fred asked. Charlotte nodded.
"My boss. I also asked Rian to be there, just in case. As soon as I'm done at the Burrow, I'll head there, do my thing and be back at the Burrow again in half an hour," she explained.
"All work, you," Fred teased. Charlotte sighed.
"I'd rather be with you." Just then, Fred grasped his ear. "Fred, baby, you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, I think... something's wrong with George. He's hurt," Fred stated slowly.
"We should get back to the Burrow, anyway. We are quite late."
"Yeah," Fred agreed, trying to keep the worry out of his voice.

By the time they'd landed at the Burrow, though, Charlotte could practically feel worry ooze off Fred, who'd run straight into his childhood home. Charlotte, who'd decided to walk to save energy, heard Fred holler his twin's name, which only made her speed up a little bit. Just in front of her, Arthur was explained exactly what had happened to George.
"I would've gotten revenge, but I was too busy trying to keep George on the broom," he finished, looking exhausted. Awkwardly, Charlotte stood behind Fred. Soon enough, though, seeing that no one else had made any movements, Charlotte moved to the other side of the sofa where she could start to try and heal George's ear.
"We learn how to heal as part of our training," she explained vaguely, though she doubted anyone was listening. Fred looked up at her. Without thinking (she assumed), he said, "I'm so lucky I'm marrying you." Internally, Charlotte groaned, but on the sofa, George let out an overdramatic gasp.
"That's it?" George asked.
"George," Ella moaned, depairing.
"No, no, no, no, no, that's it? That's your big secret?" he repeated. Fred and Charlotte shared a look.
"Yeah," Fred confirmed. George sat up. Charlotte sensed Ginny choke on her drink.
"That's nice," Ella congratulated. "When did you propose?" she asked Fred. Yet again, the couple shared a look, although smiling.
"I did," Charlotte corrected, surprising them all. "Just after the explosion."
"You proposed?" George repeated. Charlotte nodded.
"Why didn't you tell anyone? You got engaged ages ago!" Ella exclaimed.
"We didn't want to take any attention away from Bill and Fleur's wedding," Fred explained. "Though I guess it's too late for that," he added, as Bill and Fleur walked in.
"Mad Eye's Dead," Bill announced blankly, as if he couldn't believe it himself. Though, who could?
