This actually happened to me a few weeks ago, so this is a flashback.
I was in the car, my dad driving me to school. "Roger, what am I gonna do with you..."
"Huh...?"
"Why can't you be smart, and use your brain for once?" He knocked on my skull, none too gently. "Hello, anything in there?"
I shoved his hand away. "Don't touch me!" The next thing I knew, my nose was bleeding, and my whole face hurt.
"You're so fucking stupid, Roger... what the hell am I gonna do with you..."
I stayed quiet, trying to stop the bleeding.
He kept going. "You're not gonna have a very bright future, if you keep doing this. You're not gonna get a high school diploma, and you won't go to college. Then you won't have a job, and you'll end up on the streets. is that what you want, huh?"
Dont punch him don't punch him don't punch him. "Well I don't care about high school. Or college. The only thing I care about is making my friend happy. Thats all I care about. Im gonna make her happy."
He burst into laughter. "How the hell are you gonna do that? You never will."
"How do you know?"
"Because I know YOU. You're stupid. You don't use your fucking head. You say and do the stupidest things. That doesn't make her happy. That just annoys the fuck out of her."
"No. Thats not true."
He shook his head in disappointment. "Wow, you're really fucking dumb. Ok. I want you to go to school today. Walk up to her. Look her in the eyes. All you will see, is hate. She doesn't want you around. You'll see."
I couldn't take it anymore. I got out of the car, at a red light. I slammed the door behind me, and walked the rest of the way to school.
I woke up, his words on repeat in my head.
