*that night once they'd gotten back from the premiere they'd relieved Ryan's mom before taking it in turns to get chances out of their clothes from the premiere into sweats, after about half an hour trying to get the kids to bed they finally managed it and then curled up on the couch, both pretty exhausted*
Ryan: do you remember that time before we had kids
Dove: we actually slept through the night more often
Ryan: you make it sound like we ever do anymore
Dove: true
Ryan: this has been our lives for five years now?
Dove: I guess it has
Ryan: on a scale of 1-10 that is a million on the crazy scale
Dove: you're almost 30
Ryan: dear god don't remind me
Dove: it feels like we just blinked an eye and now we're here
Ryan: we've actually been together for almost 8 years
Dove: woah
Ryan: I know
Dove: Elise is 2 in two weeks
Ryan: the twins are 3 in a month
Dove: neither of those things are believable
Ryan: and Roman is officially 9 months old
Dove: in 4 months it's our 8 year anniversary
Ryan: we did so much in that time
Dove: I feel so lucky, for all the bad things that happened in my life I survived them, got past them and got here, we both did and look at what we have now
Ryan: you did such a great job today babe, with the press, with the movie, with everything
Dove: thank you
Ryan: that one question though
Dove: top 5 days of my life? That one?
Ryan: yeah
Dove: I couldn't really pick 5, there's just so many, pretty much all of them involve you
Ryan: same for me, but you not me, although I actually happen to be involved in all of them
*they both look at each other and then break out into a hysterical laughter*
Dove: I love how it was almost all accidents that got us here
Ryan: I know, it's like, the best things in our lives are pretty much all accidents except like 3 things
Dove: which 3?
Ryan: Roman
Dove: well he was sorta an accident, he was an on purpose accident
Ryan: okay well this house, I like our house and we didn't just accidentally end up here
Dove: but it was an accidental find
Ryan: you just like proving me wrong don't you?
Dove: just a little, your put out face us adorable
Ryan: I know 2 things that weren't accidents
Dove: oh and what are they
Ryan: me proposing to you and our wedding day, those were both fully planned out very intricately
Dove: you got me, but you sad 3
Ryan: I said like 3
Dove: well I'm bored so figure it out
Ryan: I could think of a few ways to entertain you if you like
Dove: ry we had sex like yesterday, you seriously need a hobby
Ryan: and if screwing you is my hobby?
Dove: well that escalated quickly
Ryan: haha true
Dove: did you finish sorting out Elise's birthday?
Ryan: what's the correct answer here?
Dove: you didn't did you?
Ryan: maybe not
Dove: okay, I'll sort it out, but that means you're in bath time duty for the next two weeks
Ryan: that is not even fair, how would you like me to do that?
Dove: shoulda thought about that shouldn't you?
Ryan: I never think these things through
Dove: I know, that's why I always win
Ryan: oh honey that's not why you always win
*she gives him a fake glare before turning it into a smirk, kissing him and then getting up and walking away, as she does though she calls to him without even a backwards glance*
Dove: eyes of my ass

This was another one of those chapters where I started with a plan but then scrapped the plan about two minutes in and just let the words flow 😂😂 xoxo
