Joji's P.O.V
We pulled out of the parking lot of ______'s apartment. I looked at her as she gazed out of the window and I couldn't help but smile. She was cute when she was mad. I focused on the road again, making sure she didn't catch me staring when she looked away.
The beach wasn't very far away from where ______ lived, but since I liked taking the more scenic route around the city, it took longer than usual to get there. On the way there, we stopped at some family owned restaurant and ate before continuing our trip. The weather was amazing, the sun was fully out and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. I could tell we were nearing the seaside as I saw two seagulls soar overhead, squawking loudly.Your P.O.V
Suddenly, my phone buzzed and I pulled it out to see that it was from an unknown number. Confused, I unlocked my phone to see the text message, as it had an image attached to it. I waited for the picture to load. When it did, I wished that I hadn't seen it. It was a zoomed in photograph of me from just a few minutes ago, taken from the side of the car. I felt my heart sink as I looked over at Joji.
"Pull over." I ordered shakily. "What?" Puzzled, he did as I had asked, turning his hazard lights on. I could see the water from here, we would only have to drive down a small hill to get to the beach. I said nothing, holding my phone up for him to see. No sign of fear showed up on his face. "Are you sure it isn't a friend?" Joji asked, his somewhat worried brown eyes gazing into mine. I shook my head frantically. "N-no one... I didn't tell any of my friends I-" I stuttered, trying to take a deep breath.
"Hey." He looked around. "If it was someone with bad intentions, we can wait and see what they're going to do next. Because there isn't much we can do right now, and I don't think it's going to be as dangerous with all of the people at the beach..." Joji's voice trailed off. I nodded, calming down a bit. Being around him made me feel safer.

The weather was amazing, it was warmer than I had expected it to be, and being at the beach made me forget almost completely about the picture. Joji had dropped me off at my apartment, and suggested to stay the night if I was scared, but even though I was very scared and wanted him to stay, I said I was going to be alright, because I knew he had better things to do.
I called Sophie and told her about my day, making sure to include the photograph and my panic attack. She comforted me, telling me that surely the person that took the picture didn't have evil intentions and basically re-stating Joji's point. She worded it almost identically to how he did. I soon felt my eyelids getting heavier and decided to end the call.
Just as I was about to go to bed, the time being nearly 11:00 pm, my phone buzzed. I tiredly picked up my phone and squinted at my bright screen. It was the same number from earlier today. The text read, "I heard you telling your friend about me. Don't worry, I don't plan on hurting you yet." I stared at the text, my heart pounding. The words repeated themselves in my head. Yet. I don't plan on hurting you yet. I felt my palms become sweaty as my breathing quickened.
The urge to call Joji and tell him about the text was overwhelming, but I was too afraid to bring him into this and risk him getting hurt as well, all because of me. I simply didn't know what to do. What if I died? Nobody would know what happened to me. I decided to resolve this tomorrow as I set my phone down and pulled the covers over my head, drifting asleep.
A/N:
So in the last chapter I didn't say 'my friend's' name, therefore I just changed it to sophie so that I can refer to her more, because she is an important person in this story.
